2 weeks of no cigs and I already notice benefits. I was a 2-3 PAD smoker. There is the obvious, like my lungs feeling better and more stamina. But I'm wondering, is there a timeline for other benefits? Will my lungs continue to heal? Do your sinus's go thru an adjustment period? I'm still hacking up phlegm and I'm just wondering if thats a normal part of quitting cigarettes. Thanks in advance.

I only smoked about 1 to 1.5 PAD so I guess I had less crap to hack up. I stopped coughing after about 7-10 days. I had a sore throat for about a week, but I'm pretty sure that was a combination of dehydration ( I wasn't drinking enough water when i started vaping) and nic withdrawal. I didn't notice anything with my sinuses except being able to smell things better. Somewhere along the line I started sleeping a lot better. Apparently my skin is more radiant, or so I've been told. My fingers no longer have a yellow tint to them, and I feel better than I have in years and years . OH, I've been analog free for about 2 months.

You have to remember though that everyone's body is different so it would be difficult to pin down an exact timeline.

Congrats on making the switch and keep on vaping!

I am three months in now. Your experience exactly mine. Is was amazed how much gunk I still coughed up after a month. I think I still cough up more than a non smoker non vaper but now it is clean and just a little in the morning. I don't think my lungs will ever be right again but I hope they will not get worse.

Well I basically fell apart that first month. I had a stuffed up head and my whole body hurt. I learned that just an effect on my body getting rid of all that gunk in cigs. Now I feel great! I do believe that their is other stuff in cigs that keep you hooked cause now at 12 mg I can go all day without cravings even when I can't vape.

Also after 6 at night I vape 0 nic and can tell no difference besides taste. No cravings at all.

Congrats on the switch, I have noticed that stuff that seemed to be stuck is coming up.
More energy, and at 53.... I swear overall better sexual performance.
Oh and I was starting to maybe develop a cough, thats gone.
Not as much clearing of the throat either.
One this I have noticed is my nose does seem to run slighly more.
I also used to have this nagging back pain, gone.
Also when I do clear my throat I do feel crap coming up,
which to me is good. It means cleansing, not a lot in small
amounts but it is progress.

I was a .5-1 pack a day smoker for 12 or so years. The biggest improvement this month for me has been the gums, they look fantastic. Um, I always had a strong sense of smell so I haven't noticed that getting any better. Foods are the same too. Still to early, i'm sure as I progress i'll start noticing more things.

I've found myself to be less ocd about certain things too. :)
