Hey guys and gals! Just wondering if anyone else had experienced higher than normal blood pressure after quitting analogs? My wife has been quit now for 6 weeks, and is concerned about her blood pressure, as it has increased somewhat since quitting analogs. She's scheduled an appt. with the family doc, but I was curious if anyone had experienced this as well, and if so, did it eventually normalize, and how long did it take to normalize.......

Thanks in advance everyone!

it will go up if taken within 30 minutes of either vaping or smoking due to the concentrated nicotine. if taken later, it should be down. nic is nic and like taking her BP after several cups of coffee, both pulse and BP will be higher. when i go to the doc, or VA for my mandated check ups, i ensure that i don't vape or have any coffee at least an hour prior to going in so that it settles down to it's normal rate.
hope that helps. it's all just a stimulant which affects vital signs.

My experience too, Bunnykiller. Within a few weeks of starting to vape, I started having orthostatic hypotension problems again. My primary care physician tells me my BP has dropped ten points on both systolic and diastolic, down to the 110/60 range. That's low for a 65 year old fat guy.

She's been quit for 6 weeks or so now, gained some weight (15lb which can make BP go up), as well the anxiety level has gone way up, and I think these 2 are the primary factors. She doesn't vape a lot at all, and is using 18mg 100% VG juice. I don't think this is a normal occurrence, but wanted to see if anyone had similar results, and hoping it was only short term. We're hitting the track, weight room, and starting the Food Lovers Diet to control the weight (I gained some when I quit last year too), and seeing the doc as well.

Im only 26 have been off analogs for 4 years vaping that whole time. Went to the doc in October he said my BP was through the roof. I'm fairly health, walk nightly with the fam, eat organic. Cut my nic down to 6 and went back to the doc in Jan, BP is perfect. Go figure.

Were you suffering any type of anxiety? Glad it leveled out and back to normal...
