EgO (2.3ml) 1.8ohm Horizontal Coil Cartomizer...your experiences?

Ordered one of these to try, and i don't want to write them off based on a single unit, but...wondering if maybe I just got a not-so-good one?

Running it on a Joye eGo batt, without my booster. I filled it with a syringe using it's capacity of 80% PG/ 20% VG juice, and let it sit for a half hour just to be sure. Was gurgly at first use, it was pretty full and i'd be very surprised if anything got burnt. First vape was very impressive, a LOT of vapor, but almost immediately I noticed a harsh quality to the vape, not really like a burnt flavor, but more along the lines of atty-primer harshness. Anyone else experience this? The juice I'm using is one I use often, and it's rather clean-running, doesn't gunk up other cartos/attys, so I don't think juice is a factor. My next move, nonetheless, will be to clean it and see if that helps. If that doesn't work, I'll dissect it and look for clues...

I'd very much like these to be good, since they look great, seem well-made, and put out a lot of vapor...really, I'm hoping this is just a bad dice-roll and others have had better experiences with them.

I just got some of these to try. I like them. Best larger capacity carto I've used on an ego. Much better flavor and warmth on an ego battery than the EMDCC. I didn't get any burned/primer taste at all on the 2 I have tried so far. One had a tight draw, then I cleaned the air channel out with a pin and it was perfect.

I think they may have a break-in period
