eGo 650mah Passthrough contest for a smoker

Okay guys here we go, recently I won a gift card in a contest, to a vendor which didn’t have very many options in my gift card’s price range, so I decided to go with an eGo that I could pass on to someone in need.

Here is what you can win:
PassThru.JPG

The Rules:

1. You may enter once per day.
2. The contest ends on Saturday Oct 20th at 9pm (unless something works it’s way into my schedule at which point I will update you guys on the new end date).
3. This contest is for someone in need, your entry cannot be something simple like:
a. “count me in”
b. “Entry”
c. “I could use this”
d. “I need a backup device
4. Your entry must be a legitimate entry for someone who NEEDS this device, examples:
a. A smoker friend who Wants to quit
b. A vaper whose device has died and has fallen off the wagon
c. A smoker who has been diagnosed with any of the many diseases we know can be caused by smoking, who is WILLING to make the switch.
5. Please put some effort into this, I am in no way in the financial shape to give things away, and this is a gift to someone in need, I will read ALL entries, and choose based on my own opinion.

Lastly, please mark all entries with :entry: and all chit chat with :chit chat: just to help me organize.

I know this is a long list of rules, but these are my terms. There have been cases of people entering contests with fantastic sob stories, who’ve later been seen selling the devices they’ve “won for a friend” on the classifieds. This is a cohesive community, and if this happens who-ever the culprit may be will be permanently banned from any contests I hold, and I will be sure to notify other contest-holders, vendors and moderators of your untrue actions.

Thank you and good luck =)

Thank you Uncle, I appreciate that, I really want this to go to someone who needs it, I know there are a lot of people out there who are strapped for cash and could use the help! (like myself lol)

Entry?: Not sure if it would qualify but my sister has been smoking analogs for years and I've always wanted to try to bring her over to ecigs. She always seems to be interested in them and if they work when I see her. I would love to get her to try. Anyways you won't see me with it as a back up or selling it. If she wasn't going to use it I could send it back to you or PIF. Anyways thank you Unholy! This is an extremely kind gesture of you and very much appreciated!

Not an entry...

Thank you for the contest Unholy. I know whoever wins this is going to love it. A very special person here sent me one of these and I LOVE it. I love the fact that it has so much power but is so light weight. I am used to holding an 18650 battery mod so this feels like holding an ink pen. Here's hoping you get lots of entries.

My cousin smokes at least a pack a day and has tried to quit many times. He has been such a nightmare at work when he has quit that his co-workers actually prefer that he smokes. He is in his 50's now and not getting any younger. I would love to give this to him so that he has a realistic chance of actually quitting analogs.

I have someone who could really put this to use.

He's unemployed, trying to find a job with his new Universal Technical Institute degree, but has had to quit vaping (his parents will buy him stinkies but not eLiquids or carts or other equipment to keep him off them? I don't understand). He's one of the big reasons I've tried vaping and I've been a little short on cash myself or I'd pay an order for him just to thank him for tipping me off to this wonderful reason to quit the stinkies and the means to make it stick. He's 23 and my best friend's brother, so I'd love a chance to help him out. I know his system is all for use with pre-loads that he has to tear apart instead of reloadable carts so this would be a great set for him to get back on the wagon with. Being a mechanic he'd love a system that he could do more with than have to do surgery to his carts to save money on them--he'd likely get into modding once he realizes he could learn more with a better basic rig.

He's helped me out tons, his sister is my best friend and I'd love to be able to get him back on vaping, especially with this system! If he had an eGo I could probably handle getting him some more carts and juice once he had a system I can get him carts and nic juice for.

Thanks for running the contest--that's really a sweet thing to do. It's people like you :2cool: that keep me coming back here for help and to learn.

Pandora, this is an excellent example of

1. The type of situation I'm looking for
2. The length and type of entry I'm looking for.

No one has won yet, but only time will tell

I would love to give this to my younger brother. He is a smoker, taking after his big sister. We don't come from a family of smokers, but I have smoked since he was a kid, and I do feel partially responsible for him starting at all. He recently started a family, and has been talking about quitting since his son was born, but we all know how tough that can be. He has an interest in vaping after watching me go more than 4 months without a cigarette. He doesn't have a lot of money, and neither do I. But winning this would allow me to put together a decent kit by just buying a few other pieces and some good juice.

No matter who wins, thanks for an awesome contest that will definitely help someone stop smoking. I love the generosity of people on ECF. You're all awesome.
