Ego airflow controller to protect threads?

I ordered my first nice mod. A itaste vtr and I'm pretty excited. I want it to last, as it is pricey for me. I was planning on using an airflow controller to help protect the treads on the device and increase its longevity.

Will this work?

If you don't swap your tanks 4,5,6 times a day- your threads should be fine.
I don't have a vtr so I don't know if the airflow controller would work. There's a lot of info about it in the eleaf thread tho.

Your VTR will come with an extension you can use to protect the threads, it's meant to be used with tanks too wide to fit the side space and ring on the VTR. An air flow adapter or 510 / eGo adapter is a great idea for any mod. I use them regularly on most of mine, it's easier than tearing the mod apart to replace the 510.
