They pull too much power and get too hot. The MOSFET switch inside the battery can't take it plus the eGo can't supply enough power properly to fire low resistance. Many people do it anyway but it's a risk to your battery. If you want to go with low resistance safely, you can't use a proprietary battery like the eGo. You will have to buy a mod similar to the Prodigy V3.1 from puresmoker.com as an example. Any mod that has removable/rechargeable batteries will work as long as they run at 3.7V.

Edit: See? I argued it with Iffy but he has a point. Another thing to mention is that they haven't been out for very long so no one really knows what the long term affect it will have on the batteries.

The duals work fine on the Ego type Batts, and better on the higher mAh Batts as well, the trick is to not chain vape them and get the Mosfet connection to hot and you will be fine using them ( My opinion )

I agree. I've been using DCHV 1.5 cartos on my ego & riva and they work great but I don't really know if they deplete the battery sooner because I'm switching PVs all day but it makes sense that it would. It won't hurt your battery it will just drain it faster.

Thank you all again for your responses. Can we define chain vape, is it 3-5 hits in a row or non-stop puffing for half an hour? And what happens when MOSFET gets too hot, dead battery or explosion?

3-5 hits in a row , without relasing the button.
if mosfet get too hot it's automagicly cut off the power ( blinking led ), if this continue it will drop the battery life.
try after one hits about 5-8 sec, releasing the button, wait another 10 sec. to vape again :D
