ego and low resistance atty

Im not sure Im posting in the correct place.

I just got an EGO. I purchased low resistance attys and when i put it on I smelled a burn like a filter burning smell. what did I do wrong.


Do I drip directly into the atty and put a plastit tip on there?

I got some cartamizors too and they are fine.

I'm also brand new to vaping, and I was wondering about dripping directly onto the atomizer. 24 does seem like a lot, but do you happen to know roughly what the limit is for an eGo? I'm also wondering, is it as simple as popping the cart out, dripping directly onto the atomizer, and vaping away?

Sorry if I'm getting a bit off topic here. I didn't want to start a new thread.

eGo is really just the battery. An atty fits any battery with a matching thread or adaptor.

I drip on 306 LR 1.5 attys on eGo batteries. 4-5 drops and a 30 second wait to get them going, then 2-3 drops between 5-8 hits off it. Drip when it starts losing flavor.


24 drops would be flowing down the battery. Are you sure you are not using cartomizers?

Yes but a drip tip helps (mouth piece with a huge hole to drip juice down without taking it off) and keeps you from burning your lips on the metal of the atty. CHeck out GoodProphets.com they sell them for $.99

That'll work, but it is typically referred to as "topping off" the cart. Dripping gets the juice directly to the atomizer and gives immediate satisfaction!

I got some cartamizor's They are the Borg 510 2.0's Not an atomizor.


That is what Im using. Now you see I am dumb. However it is smoking great. I switched from an Jjoy Npro and this new one is the EGO and I love it.

She hits so good I might need to lower the nicotine so I can smoke it more.

I started with an eGo T, then switched to a mega ( type B ) cylinder LR atomizer and mega ( type b ) cartridge

24 drops wont fill this cartrage.

But I do like it... leaking issues ocasionally, but I do like it.
