Carts just don't wick fast enough to keep up with the juice demands of LR's. Even if it's full, if it's not wicking fast enough it won't matter. They need more juice, because they get hotter and vaporize juice faster.

I've heard of a couple people who use carts with various mods with LR's. But it's very uncommon. I don't know how they do it, because I have never found a cart that could keep up.

With LR's, unless you are one of those rare people with magical powers to make carts basically dump out juice, you gotta drip. Tastes better anyway, ha ha.

I've had the same problem with LR...but I use a juice mod now, so I only use LRs. Ikenvape has some LR306 at 2.0 ohm that might be more gentle if you're really wanting to use LR attys. The LRs really work best if they're wet at all times. I wouldn't use anything with a lower resistance than a 2.0 ....MX just reminded me that Modern Vapor has LR attys that are 2.5 ohm. Those are made to work with carts. You may have to buy Modern Vapor carts to use with them, but at least its a 510 connection. Here is the link....

Nothing will replace dripping for best vapor, throat hits and flavor but LR attys can still be vaped with carts under the right conditions.

I use stock DSE901 carts with LR attys and they work fairly well, if: the juice is as thin as PG; you hold the PV with the cart end up; you wait at least 15 seconds between big drags. It's best to take shorter drags after vaping on the cart for awhile, since the wicking decreases as the cart emptys.

I do not use 1.5 ohm attys with carts, the 1.8-2.0 ohm ones are better since they don't run quite as hot and aren't as hard on the eGo batts.

The carts last about 3 or 4 days of use. Normally I can add 6-9 drops when refilling, plus one drop on the atty bridge.
