What is the best atomizer for a regular eGo... I see so many types of atomizers from vendors. I am also curious of what the difference is for each.. I keep reading throughout the forums if you use the wrong type of atomizer and can lower the lifespan or ruin your battery.

I know they require a 510 Atomizer. Just not clear on what each atomizer is designed for and or benefits.

Low Res (LR) atomizers
High Res (HR) atomizers
Bridge-less atomizers

Thanks so much in advance.

Hi Klute..

Well, in general the following is true:

Low Resistance Atties simulate high voltage vaping. The atomizer is low resistance. creates more heat, and therefor more vapor. These have a different flavor production compared to normal 510 atties.

High resistance atomizers are used for high voltage mods. Most personal vaporizers run at 3.2 to 3.7 volts- but some mods (modified) run at as high as 7.4 volts. So a high resistance atomizer gives the same vaping experience as a normal atomizer, at a higher voltage, thus longer battery life.

De-bridged atties have their wicking bridge removed- usually exclusively used for dripping with a drip tip. They produce, anecdotally speaking, better vapor when used with a drip tip.

If you are new.. I'd suggest standard atomizers as a jump off point. Then try new things as you move on.
