Well I guess it depends on what if your using regular atties with carts or cartomizers. The black tape on the cartomizers makes the diameter on the carto slightly thicker, therefore making a tighter draw with the cone on. In fact sometimes it is to tight to draw that's why I & some others have used a drill bit to expand the end of the cone to allow more airflow. Have read a post where someone put a small hole in the cone with a dremal for better airflow.

Yes. I read that too after I posted my opinion about function vs perception.
In light of that, I was wrong. I was basing by statement on regular attys.
It could be a design a flaw. I still say the purpose of the cone is cosmetic and ergonomic but they could have made the diameter a little larger on the small end except then it could be damaging to the lips if the edge were sticking up too much higher.

I have an ego (pv that is) and I drip with drip tips. If I put the cone on I can't get enough air flow to atty even with manual batts. It's like I'm sucking on a clogged straw. Suck, no vapor. So the cone does have a purpose at least as far as dripping is concerned.

I've tried my eGo with and without the cone. Personally, I like the vapor with the cone better but YMMV. Check out Cignot for decent prices on eGo parts, including 510 attys. I will say that the Titanium finish on my cone peeled off within a week, so now I've got a Two Tone eGo

LOL, mine just started peeling as well. So has the coating on your batteries held up so far? I figured I would soon have an all silver eGo.

my Egos havent peeled at all. I have a platinum one and a pink one . The finish on both are perfect.
As for the cone, dont know if it does a lot for the vapor, but I appreciate that it protects my hands from hitting a hot atty.

At $15 an atty, and with spotty customer service/warranty issues, Totally Wicked is NOT "the best place" for attys. Seriously, you can get them for almost half that, on a daily basis, with a 3-6 month warranty.

Also, to clarify, you should be looking for "510" atomizers. Most suppliers found on the forum will have 510 equipment.

I'll repeat - Totally Wicked is "the best place" to get low-res 510 attys. They sell them not for $15, but for $7.69. I have placed a half-dozen orders with them and their customer server has been perfect, with very fast shipping. I do think their e-liquid is overpriced, but certainly not their low-res 510 attys. Of course, when I say "best place", I mean the best place that I have dealt with.
