I have two, eGo 510 1100 mah, batts. They're about 3 weeks old have have started this. When I release the button it stays on for about 2 - 4 seconds. Is this a sign the batt is going out or is it normal? They started doing this about 2 weeks after I got them. Anybody else notice this with their batts. I'm afraid this may effect the life span of the Cartos.

Could the buttons be sticking. I have two twists and one seemed to have more of a delay going off, and after a couple of weeks it started sticking even more so that randomly I have to shake it or pull the button back out. Twists seem to be worse about it than older eGo's (I had three previous non twist eGo's that didn't do it), but they are all still cheap Chinese made batteries, prone to problems, especially with the buttons because that's the movable part. And on that note, I don't think I usually see 1100 mAh, usually I see 1000 mAh, so what you have is likely not made by Joyetech but rather by some other company which may or may not be of lower quality/standards.

I wouldn't worry about it too much either way though. A few seconds shouldn't break the coils on your cartos or anything, and the batteries should have a ten second or so cutoff. I keep happily using my sticky button twist.
