Is it best to store reserves charged, or drained, or 50 / 50?

How long will a fully charged battery stay charged while in reserve / storage?

I know that most li-ion batteries(dont know about ecig batteries but think it would fall into the same category) require at least a half charge if your planning on storing them. Most of your newer drills with li-ion batts say this in the manual. Hope this helps but dont quote me Hope this helps T41CK

50/50. If you have a voltmeter about 3.8v.

Lithium ion batteries lose about 3% a month. The protected ones about twice that because the circuitry is powered.
