ego battery flashes green and red when charging...

...its mostly red but every five seconds it flashes a green blip.

This isnt normal as it usually stays red if its charging and green when it its done.



Please say this isnt my battery telling me its dying.

What is happening is that the charger is switching periodically from charging mode to a voltage test mode. This is completely normal and most people don't notice that it happens. It is just testing the battery voltage all through the charge. When it senses that the battery has reached 4.2vdc, then the LED will remain green to signal that charging is complete.

Most people don't notice this. Recent chargers have a more pronounced green blink than the older ones. Recently, many people have posted the same question.
