:glare:I have an EGO battery that's not working. When I press the button the light comes on but get no vapor off of any of my assorted clearos and atomizers.
Metered battery with button pushed and get 4.0 volts. Since egos have known issue of center pin being pushed down I tried lifting it with jewellers screw driver and was no go.
Any suggestions on what issue may be would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

had the same problem yesterday, center pin nonsense. again. last time managed to lift it and was fine but yesterday all went to hell and now that battery is in pieces waiting to be built into another tube with a spare 510 connector i had lying around. but enough about my woes, have also read about people using a small o-ring to wedge it under the pin to lift it. didn't work for me. my idea that i want to ask about is this : could a small copper disc be soldered to the top of the ego type batteries center pin? or just a blob of solder stuck on there and sanded flat? seems to me if the center pin keeps on falling down, leave it and build up from there?

ive done that with silver solder just make sure you get plenty of flux on the contact i use a Qtip and dope the end of the iron with plenty of silver solder and i did not have to sand at all when finished

i had to fix my sisters ego it would light up but only got 2.3v found out the neg lead came loose so i just had to solder it to the inside wall of the battery , worked like a champ after that , you may want to just take a peak inside to see if everything is still intact

oh..that one should be an easy fix

When you tighten the head down...don't hork down on it..it shoves that pin down

Gotta wiggle the pin around ALOT to lift it...if it still won't fire..might be time to pop the head of the battery loose and see if the solder joint busted, which is really weird because you are getting volts out on the head...

Good luck
