Also make sure there's no crud in the battery or atomizer
threads that's stopping it from screwing down all the way.
I've had a few 510 atty's that just wouldn't connect due to poorly cut threads, working them on a spare battery connector fixed them.
The battery connectors on the eGo's/Riva's etc are only press fit in, no need to cut. Just secure the battery connector end in a vice or something with protected jaws so you don't mark the finish, and pull it out
