eGo-T Circuit Board

I was poking around the Good Prophets site and found an eGo Board for $2.99.

This looks like NIMH board for sure.

Has anyone used the eGo boards in a mod? How did it go?

The ego board allows you to hook up an ego charger that screws into the atomizer connector, charges lithium ion cells connected to it.

I am thinking that a PUCK with 2000 mAh AA NIMH batteries and the eGo board might be a future project

If ya do, I just wouldnt try using it as a charger. Lithium Ion and Nickel Metal Hydride (?) are two different chemistries that have two different charging characteristics, putting one in a charger for the other could end up badly.

Also, make sure that if you do end up using one of these boards that youre putting the right voltage into it. 3 nimh in series is 4.5v fresh charge which may be too high

At $3.00 a board I am not too worried. I will hook it up on a bread board and see if it works or burns up.
