I'm a 2 week newbie to vaping and I'm somewhat unusual in that I'm not using vaping to stop years of cigarette smoking because I had already quit for 3 years. Unfortunately I fell off the wagon and started periodically smoking again.
I could see where I was headed and decided to try vaping with the idea that it might be less harmful and maybe I could control the nic content.
Unfortunately I've developed a lot of the same symptoms as other new vapers. Dry/coated mouth and kidney pain are the two most noticeable. Not sure if my muscle/joint pain is being caused by vaping either.
As far as the unpleasant "coated mouth" from inhaling PG/VG, i've started vaping with a folded paper towel over my ego c's mouthpiece.
It does seem to reduce the coated feeling.
Anyone else tried this?
I love the whole concept of vaping and the elegance and sophistication of many of the products but some of the side effects seem to much of a price to pay, especially if the vaping is helping to bring on kidney stones/pain.
My research is beginning to make me believe that vaping may not be for me.
Pity. I never get to have any fun.
