Yes I have been to the doctor and have had many blood tests do to all the crazy symptoms I have had since I started vaping in January 2013. Most recently the hand specialist for an exray, which looks normal. I was currently smoking 70/30 vg/pg. I am a diy'er and have tried all mixes. This last one is what I settled on after achy calf muscles. I am on day one of quitting vaping to see if the joint pain stops. I hate going down this road. I love vaping. I found an old closed thread on here about joint pain. Also found this on the net. Backache? | e-Cigarettes - Electronic Cigarettes Anyone else going down the joint pain road?

I have been suspect of my daily heartburn medication (omeprazole) causing the joint pain. It is listed as a rare side affect. I have been taking it for 10 years. Now maybe this coupled with one of the ingredients in my juice is causing it. Anyone having the joint pain also on this medication?

What I have concluded from my many visits to the doctor with questions about vaping, is that I am better off searching for answers on the internet. The docs are all lost when it comes to ecigs.

VP|||i have experienced pains in the joints and bones of my right hand like what i imagine arthritis feels like, but i think its unrelated and probably just a co-incidence as it is only in one hand, the one i use pre-dominately it has been doing alot of work recently and i think it is worn out. i think i just need to rest it.

The text above is cut from the link in the first post. Exactly what I was dealing with. My dominant hand was affected. This has to be from Vaping.

Sorry to hear of your issues!

As the article you linked mentions, the only realistic correlation we can make is that it could be attributed to increased lactic acid as result of PG breakdown. The issue with that is how would it possibly only concentrate itself in one area causing you discomfort (ie you should be more sore all over).

Can't really fathom any other possible cause that could be e-cig related. Unless you've got a mech mod and use whacky gripping/squeezing positions that are causing a previously unnoticed issue to flare up.

*EDIT* nvrmind missed the "all mixes" part, so obv tried 100%VG,*EDIT* unfortunately, it may be in your best interest to give up the vaping.

I am so very sorry to hear that you are suffering in chronic pain. I have a friend that went through almost exactly the same thing about a year ago. He went to lots of docs that ran tons of tests and did not get any answers. He was convinced it was something in the juice as well. He quit vaping and I don't think that it took him very long to be right back to smoking.

Well, almost a year later, he found out that he has RA :( At least now he does have a diagnosis even though it is not a great one, it is something that he can be treated for. Happily, he is back to vaping now and off the cigs. I will see if I am able to get him to post his experience here in case it may help you the next time that I talk to him.

Hang in there and good luck to you!
