So I was p'd off with my ego-c attys feeling they are way inferior to their predecessor the ego-t.

One that I was using a dark tobacco VG/PG juice with was burning out on that juice after a few draws.

I stripped off the wicking plate, soak cleaned the remaining atty which contains the coil with a little bowl underneath and dry burn cleaned it. Threw out the wicking spike / plate.

Using the CONE and a 1.1ml tank with the 2 little parts of the mouthpiece and also the insert at the part the spike goes into removed as my 'drip tip'

I first tried the usual dripping method of 'around 3 drops' per session onto the coil. The liquid gurgles and gargles around in the bowl below the coil for ever, it just can't handle that much straight on the coil with no bridge / wick.

So next up I tried ONE drop ONLY on to the coil once it is dry AND WOW - it gives a good flavorful 3 - 4 draws! Even with the dark PG/VG Virginia Tobacco I had given up on

I've found the best way to use the ego-c system at home!

Personally I was finding the ego-c set up mediocre for anything other than 100% PG juices.

The T-attys were better than this and heck you can still buy em cheaper than a replacement C-atty!

Ah well I'll use the wickless / spikeless C atty for dripping now, it's going well and I've got two evods ordered and some replacement C-s (found Chinese clones real cheap, like 2usd) for daily use for my clear non VG / low VG juices.

To be fair my other ego-c atty that I've been using every morning and day with a clear 100%PG menthol (my ADV, barring when I get home after work) is still going strong but IMHO they are not good for handling VG.

ANYWAY - the message here is if you have some c-attys you've given up on, take off the wick plate and chuck it. Soak clean the atty then dry burn it with the cone on. Then ONE drop only per 3 -4 puffs and either with your own drip tip or the 'makeshift' one I made (it works great actually) and you now have some decent dripping attys that you may have otherwise wasted.

EDIT - they drip well with my DEKANG 100PG juices, really am getting massive clouds, 3 to 4 great draws off of a drop or two on the coil (not in the bowl.)

But the VG/PG juice - you need 2 -3 drops just for for 2 draws, which is kind of a PITA.

So my conclusion - if using 100%PG - this is a good dripping set up for your old c-attys.

For VG, just like with using them as supposed to - they SUCK BIG TIME.
