Ego-C Or Ego-T?

Being a newbie to vaping i'm interested in a good started kit (upgrade from the 21st Century & Mistic which I currently have). I've been researching the Ego-C & T models and would like to make my final purchasing decision and place an order today.
A tank style kit that would give me 2 complete setups sounds like it would be a great fit for my current needs.

I've read a few negative review points regarding the Ego-T, such as; poor vape clouds, and a bad taste before the unit is broken in. Also, I have read several positive points at well.

At this point, i'm basically confused about which model would give me the best option for my $$$.

Thanks for your input!

I'm not a fan of tanks. I don't think they're a good starter kit for someone juice starting out. They need to be cleaned. If you do have issues such as leaking or dry hits, you have to adjust the wick which isn't the easiest thing in the world to do.

I recommend ego batteries though. They last a long time, you can use low resistance cartomizers on them, and they are versatile. You can use cartomizers, cartridge/atomizer, atomizer and drip, tanks, clearomizers.

If you do decide to get an ego-c or ego-t I would pick up a box of cartomizers as well. Then you can see what you like better.

I started out with an Ego because I found this forum and did a LOT of research before I bought anything. Over the past year, I've had the basic Ego kit, mega carts, tanks A & B, and now have the Ego batts using the Smoketech dual coil mega cartos.

This is the best setup I've found. It's trustworthy, easy to use, no muss-no fuss and actually less expensive than buying all that other stuff.

Start with an Ego kit from Liberty-Flights.com for $39.99, add a couple of 900 or 1000 mah batts. (Don't forget to click the 20% off link in the upper left corner.)

Then go to Madvapes.com and get 5 or 10 of the Ego mega dual coil cartos. At $2.79 each, they're a flat-out bargain! Plus they hold nearly 5ml of juice each!

Pick your favorite juice from whatever vendor you prefer. My personal favorites are Freedomsmokeusa.com and ................. (even though GV aren't registered vendors here anymore).

I just passed my one year anniversary for vaping and am nearing one year being totally off analogs. Plus I'm cheap. ;) This is the setup I recommended to my own daughter yesterday: if it's what I would choose for my kid, how could I be steering you wrong? :thumb:

Will the 700 mah batts get me by for a few weeks? Currently i'm not away from home or my office long enough to be unable to recharge.
A car charger would be a nice option though.

My 1st shipment of juices are on the way from VirginVapors. I've heard great reviews about their products.

Thank you all for your advice.

Whats your recommendation for a reputable online dealer where I could order a kit and extras in one order? I'm trying to avoid piecing together what I want from different sites in order to reduce shipping costs.

Sweet Vapes you can get Riva carto kit. Also drip tips, extra cartomizers and juice.

Hoosier has the KGO. You can purchase 1.7 or boge 2.0 cartomizers. Don't know anything about his juice.

I don't believe any of the batts will last that long unless you have a whole stable of them! Certainly invest in a car charger: Liberty-Flights sells those too, less expensive than anyone else. Incidentally, their shipping is a flat $2.99 per order. Can't go wrong with these people. Their customer service is second to none, they warranty longer than anyone else and their prices are the best for equipment. I've been a customer for for over a year, and I'm going to be a customer for life!

If you travel, you probably carry a laptop? If you get an extra USB charger, you can use that to charge your batts too.

Sorry, I misread your post. Those batts should last you for months. I have some from last March that are just now dying. (Actually, all my batts seem to be going toes up at nearly the same time...I need to replenish my stock: now, if I'd just stop giving away "starter kits" to friends and family, I'd be in much better shape!!!) :)

I find I can refill the EDMCC carts multiple times for about a week. YMMV. That's a lot of vaping for $2.79 each!! (Especially for me: I'm a chain vaper and since we own our business, I can vape when and where I please.)

Another question please...

How many times can I refill the carts?

I am not a vet on vaping and very new but I started with the EGO T. I really liked the concept of the tank system but yes I ran into the some of the same negatives that many other here describe. I did finally do away with the EGO tank attys type A and B's. The occasional leaking, having to double hit to get a good vape, not enough throat hit, dry hits and wet hits (eliquid in my mouth) were annoying. But it didn't stop me. I had to find a way to make this work so I tried clearo's and various carto's. Currently I am liking the 3.5 DCT tanks - I really have to give it a fair shake for good but not great vape, flavor, ease of use, and performance on the EGO batts 650mah and 900mah. I agree with Off Topic start with some cartos on the EGO batts. I still use the EGO as well as my 5 volt device. It is a journey getting to that comfortably numb place in the vape adventure. I'm ok with that and I hope you will find that place too. Good luck and stick with it.

I agree! Tanks are frustrating and finicky and I gave up on them 2 years ago.
