EGO-C + Stardusts

Hi,
I'm totally new to all this vaping thing and bought an EGO-C starter kit from happyvaper.com(I'm from Canada) and a couple stardusts. Tried liquids from vaporium and canada e-juice. I'm a pack-a-day smoker and I just cannot hit on my e-cig. My throat hurts so much and getting a really little vapor with the liquids from both suppliers. I'm really surprised to cough on all hits since I've been smoking analogs for about 13 years now. Is there anybody who can tell me if it's my hardware or my juice that gives me that problem? Would like to get somebody to really help me out enjoying vaping. I want to quit analogs completely.

What type of juice delivery system does it have? I would suggest using a cartomizer. I have been trying to help my neighbors daughter quit but every clearo makes her cough like crazy. Today I tried a carto for her juice and she could vape it.

perhaps your nicotine level is too high? or your tank is flooded, which would explain the no vapor? are you getting a gurgling sound when you inhale and activate the device?

Yes it makes like a boiling sound. I don't think it would be nic level though since I have only 6mg 70/30 pg/vg juice.

I really need something I can bring with me at the office without bringing bottles of juice. Any advise about other devices I could use?

did you get the same result using the atomizer that came with the kit?

Do you nicotine in ur liquid? Just an idea as I'm new to this as well but have heard some people say that juices with high nicotine can cause this and also the base possibly as some people are sensitive to pg based juices.

It doesn't hit like the stardust. A bit less. But it sucks to bring the little tanks with me I would really need something with a tank that will last for a full day.

Is it because I'm using the stardusts with the short wicks that I'm getting that hard throat it?

I use the vivi nova mega that holds about 3.5ml of juice lasts me all day but quite a few here prefer the slim one that about 2ml. The mega is a little bit wider.

You are probably not keeping the wicks wet. I never did very well with the stardust but love the nova. The newer versions have longer wicks and it isn't such a problem.

it sounds a bit like the vacuum the dentist puts in your mouth

It could be overfilling -should be filled to bottom of silicone cap or could be getting juice in the center post hole. Try taking it off and blowing through the center hole and using a q-tip to get any juice in the battery well, or the stardust post could be slightly askew or could be just plain old poor equip.

Hi klynnn, funny you should mention that, just let a niece try a kanger T2 and the Vision v2 and she coughed alot also. Maybe i'll try the carto and see what that's like.

Or it could be the silicone cap is on wrong. There is a metal piece in the silicone cap one side is flat the other sort of a funnel shape. The flat side should face the battery and the funnel should .... up to the drip tip. This is in the replaceable types.

We have been trying to get her a vape for a week and I just thought maybe if she started with the carto it wouldn't be such a hard hit and it worked. Her lungs are in pretty bad shape and she really shouldn't be smoking at all.
