I have seen these in several online stores.
Joyetech eGo-C Trial Kit - 1 Head, 1 Body, 5 Cartridges - MyFreedomSmokes.com

How do these stack up against the clearomizers?
My clearomizer seeps, just a little, but enough to make it sticky. My second issue is keeping a second one on hand (one doesn't last all day at work) it is kind of awkward as it is too big to fit in anything small. Currently I wrap my spare in a paper towel and keep it in a hard plastic cigarette box in my shirt pocket. If the tanks don't leak, I could probably keep 5 in there.
How do they perform?
Do they leak or seep?

Thanks!

Hi carldamnit,
I wouldn't buy that kit you linked, only because it only has 1 head. I quit smoking in June with a Joyetech Ego-c and was very happy with it.
Only thing that I can say negative is the maintenance is a little more than a clearomizer and the liquid capacity is less. But it has pluses over many clearomizers..
I like that it gives me better flavor than the clearos that iv'e tried to date. It never gave me a drop of liquid on the battery. And its nearly indestructible for working. You can get "A" tanks, which is what I used, but "B" tanks have more capacity. Some have said they had leaks, but I never did. I even decided 2 months ago to get the Bulli A2-T rebuildable, which is similar, because I liked the "C". Good luck

I used my eGo C Tank system for my first three months of vaping and they served me very well. I still use them occasionally, even though I've gone on to other atomizing systems since (just celebrated my first year cigarette-free in March). Your next logical move is to go to an eGo Twist battery. The eGo C tank atomizer heads come in several resistances, and they work quite nicely with the variable voltage capabilities of the Twists.

I started with eGo-C kit over a year ago, although meanwhile I tried several other devices on the top of eGo battery like cartos, Kanger T2/T3, etc. After long time I tried again original eGo-C atomizer (I have two more spare heads), and I was rediscovered again quite clean flavour and vape. First set of 650 mAh batteries I've got in the kit are still up and running with me. Fully recommended for beginners !!

I just got "vapemail"!
I just put it all together and am kicking the tires, so to speak.
Vapor production and throat hit are pretty good, just missing a little flavor, or maybe it is the overbearing taste of plastic from the mouthpiece.

I am sure the plastic taste will calm down with use, this looks to be a good solid setup. Thanks for the help everyone!

Update
I must have had a bad atty, and from what I have seen and read after the purchase it is common. Grimm Green hated it.
Fast forward 3 months I had totally given up on the poor thing and was watching some Grimm Green videos, including the Ego C Fail one. Yesterday I just rewicked all my spent clearo heads and an RBA so I felt up to the challange.

Searched the web, lots of complaining, not much repairing I'm afraid. So I pulled out all my rewicking tools and supplies and started playing.

I think I have found a good fix for the lack of juice making it to the coil. I pushed out the metal monstrosity that is in the piercing tube and pulled a loop of 1mm silica wick through it. I left the loop long enough to contact the coil and trimmed it flush on the piercing end.

It does tons better! It is what it is, IMHO the vapor is still a bit dry and there are a lot of better options out there. It is usable now but I would never recommend this thing to a new vapor.

Sorry it didn't work for you. Hope you find something you like. Many more choices today.
I am still happy with the "C" concept and my first stainless wick and 30 gauge coil that I made on May 3rd is still being used as I type - in the Bulli-Smoker A2-T.
Good luck
I really like the concept of the device, it just needs a more efficient wicking system. Awesome idea with the stainless wick. Has anyone used ekowool on one of these things? If I remember correctly it is supposed to wick better than silica.

I have not given up on it just yet, I like to fiddle, I just don't think I would recommend it to a beginner.
