I just pulled the end cap off of my Ego c-twist! (Can't believe I'm posting this...What a total Noob!) Here's what happened and how I fixed it.

Just bought my first vv on Oct. 1st. I was vaping along with my TXL Vision Tank (2.4ohms @ 4.5v), and decided to switch to my Clearo with tobacco flavored juice, right? Wrong! I got in a hurry, as usual, and THOUGHT I had the tank unscrewed. It wasn't. The tank was quite warm and the end cap pulled off with the tank! I know, I know!

Of course the first thing I did was to call the retailer: No warranty, no exchange. Figures! Anyway, I decided that I had nothing to lose, so using a toothpick so as not to short anything out (Btw: Did I say I'm a Amateur Radio Operator? Understand a little about electronics) I gently put the push button back in the hole and lined up the pc board. Then gradually eased it back in. Took a little effort, but it works! (much to my delight!)

After vaping about a ml, lol, I decided to go ahead and share my adventure so some other total noob maybe...just maybe...wouldn't do the same thing!

I purchased my 1st Ego C Twist Today!! I won't be making that mistake, but i'm sure there will be plenty others.. lol
I'm sure if it happens it's not that it was done on purpose.
Many people (like my son) don't take into consideration the battery is not meant to bend in the center.
He's quick to stick it in his jeans pocket so while he's sitting down; it's bending.

LOL! I've got 3 sons...They're grown and 2 of them are out of the house...ain't parenting wonderful! :toast:
Parenting got wonderful when he moved out- although it's hard to tell he has his own place cause his stuff keeps showing up here.

My first ecig was an eGo C Twist, still have it and use it while working. Had it in my front pocket one day and sat down and the end cap popped out. I thought I'd wrecked it but after fiddling with it for a bit I got it back together.

Few weeks later I bought a friends kit off him and the top posts where to far down and nothing I did would make them stay up so I popped the top cap off and pushed it up from the bottom, that fixed it for awhile but I had to do it again and this time one of the wires broke loose.

If I was good a soldering I'd fix the wire but as of now its laying in a drawer.

Sounds like something I would do! I'm a pretty fair hand with a soldering iron, IF, and only if, I can find my glasses. Either my eyes are getting weaker, or the parts are getting smaller!

And this is why I opted for the trash.
He managed to break one of the wires and soldering is not a forte of mine.
