Ego-C Twist Broken already?

Hello, Im new to this forum as well as to vaping. I know a few things about it but not much, so please be patient with me.
I got into vaping through a friend and decided to order my own pen, so I did.
Today I got a new Ego-C Twist with a 1100mah battery and CE4 clearomizer.
When I got the package today I plugged the charger in and left it on the charger fora about an hour when I checked on it and the red light on the charger was green, indicating that it was done charging.
I filled the clearomizer with eliquid, let it sit, and then connected it to the battery and everything was working fine, but an hour ago it just stopped vaping.
When I press the button it just blinks ten times. It won't even turn off! I tried plugging it into the charger,
thinking that it could just be running low on power, but it won't charge either!
If anyone knows how to fix this then it will be very appreciated.

Welcome! I have a c-twist also, it did that once to me. Try pushing the button 5 times and see what happens. For some reason mine went into the flashing mode and I charged it and it turned green after a few minutes, I pushed the button 5x and it started working again. I always have a few spare manual batteries on hand so I don't get caught without my vape. Good luck!

Saw this in another thread. Hope this helps.

If you're using a correct charger, like an eGo-rapid charger, the specs should be:

Input: 5V
Output: 4.2V - 420mAh

I always recommend using an AC wall adapter--just in case--5 volt, 500mA output.

A 420 mAh charger should charge a 900 mAh battery in a little over two hours; a 1300 mAh battery in about 3 hours.

So something is wrong. Is it possible that the Twist is not making a proper electrical contact with the charger? Are the threads clean? Are you over-tightening it on the charger? Sometimes when you screw a battery on too tight the center pin gets depressed a little and that creates a connectivity problem. Check that pin and, if necessary, raise it just a hair--use a tiny screwdriver to wiggle it up gently.

Good luck!

When it blinks ten times like that it usually is the indication that the battery is low and needs to be charged, so your thought of putting it on the charger would the right one But the fact that it wont charge is odd. I would have to say that you most likely got a bad battery which unfortunately happens.

The only other thing that I can think of is that your center post in the 510 connection possibly got pushed down from the CE4 and now its not making connection when screwed into the charger.

I tried getting a little screw driver and bring the battery up, but nothing happened either. It seems like you're right, I just got a bad battery. That or for some reason it still isn't connecting to the charger.

Dont know if you purchased online or from a local shop but I would contact the vendor and get a replacement. I would also suggest getting a second battery as a backup, this way if one battery goes bad you will at least (in theory) have a good battery to get you by.

I bought it online. There isn't a refund, but lesson learned. I'm not gonna buy knock-offs.

Keep in mind even the originals can be broken- as can everything I guess. Common thing that happens with those longer batteries is people putting them in their pocket and bending over and snapping the top part off.

I understand that. Hopefully the new one wont break within the first 2 hours. lol

So sorry. I've seen other posts like yours recently. It's a shame. Too many bad knockoffs out there.

Did you buy it on eBay?

Anyway, you should always buy from a reputable seller who offers at least a DOA warranty.
