eGo C Twist getting hot

Hey folks, I have an eGo C twist 650 mah battery that is getting hot at the dial end. I have two other twists and they stay cool to the touch under load at the dial end when vaping. I suppose I already know the answer but confirmation would be appreciated. I worry that the use of the one that gets warm while vaping is unsafe and for safety's sake I should just eat the 25 dollars and move on being that my co-pay to the emergency room is much higher than the 25 dollars I spent for the battery. I bought the battery at altsmoke (who I believe to be a reputable vendor selling genuine joye products) on July 7th. Does anybody know what the warranty is on this device? Would this problem be covered? Has anyone else come across this issue?

That battery Doesn't sound good.

I would return it if it is under Warantee. If it isn't, I would Chuck it.

$25 seems like a Small Price compared to Burning Down your house. Or a Trip to the ER.

The battery should not be getting hot, especially on the end not connected to liquid feed. I would stop using it pronto.

yeah, i pretty much thought so i put in a ticket with the vendor if it is covered under warranty ..fantastic!.... if not ...el garbage. thanks for the input.

Please check with your locals to see if these batteries are recycle-ble.

I shudder to think of all the vaping stuff filling the landfills, we really need to start thinking about this.

Actually, I don’t believe that Li-Ion Batteries are considered Recyclable. Their Chemistry is considered to be Landfill Safe.

I might be Mistaken on this.

But I do agree that more needs to be down to keep things out of Landfills and Contaminating the Ground Water Supply.

My Vision Spinner VV (twist clone?) gets kind warm near where it connects to my mini nova tank. I'm not sure if the warmth is coming from the battery itself or maybe from the heating coil on the tank. I only notice this at voltages higher than 4.3
