I bought a typical Ego-C Twist by joyetech. It's 1000mah.

1) How will I know the battery is running low? I'd hate to go to work and not make it through the day without my fix.

2) How long would a 1000mah battery last relative to analogs?

Basically, I'm curious to know if the battery on a full charge would last as long as a regular pack of cigarettes. I was never a heavy smoker to begin with.

I've heard of some people using them for 8hrs to 2 days. I guess it's dependent on the person and the tank. I'm using an Aspire BDC glassomizer with a 2.1ohm atomizer running the battery at 3.6 volts on my favorite all-day vape.

I appreciate your time. :vapor:

There is no indicator on Twists that warns you about a battery losing power. When it dies, it just blinks at you. That is why I always carry at least one backup battery with me when I am out and about. I am a fairly heavy vaper, so a 900mah battery lasts between 4-6 hours. I typically go through 3 batteries in a day. This is using a single coil EVOD/Protank at 2.2 or 2.5 ohms at 3.6V. YMMV of course.

If you want an eGo style battery with a charge level indicator, you may want to consider an Innokin VV V3 or a KGO VV2.

The battery will blink when it's time to recharge; If you have access to a usb port at work you just carry the charging cable/dongle with you.

I used to carry 2 twists with me to work; needed both;
yes I suppose it lasted me approx about the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes, maybe a little less.

A BDC (bottom DUAL coil) will use more power than single coils; your batteries will not last as long as with single coils; when I was using ego-c twists it was on single coils; dual coils are becoming more popular these days.

Always have at least two devices! Not only do you not know, with standard Twists and Spinners, what the remaining capacity is, but with only one you have nothing if a coil fails, it gets dropped and you break something... stuff happens.

And you might want to change the flavor during the day :)

Typically, a fully charged 1000 mAh battery should get the average vaper through a day. (Eh, what's average???) But when I go out for the day, I'll start with a tube mod and fresh 18650 AND a 1300 Spinner, both with full toppers. No way I'm going to let myself get caught without a vape, after making it this long without a cig!

Thanks, folks. Ultimately my question is, would any of you say a 1000mah battery lasts as long as a full pack of analogs?

Yes they can.
On a plain simple cartomizer refill type thing (cigalike style carto) definitely. Vaping for 5 mins every hour or two simulating a cigarette, yes.

On a big dual coil chain vaping? nope.
