Ego C using the dual core clearomizers

I am having problems with the clearomizer. When I put my cap on the drip tip to keep the eliquid from evaporating, every so often it gets liquid in the cap and on the mouth piece which in turn will get on my lips and in my mouth. Does anyone have any advice on how to keep that from happening. I thought it was because I was leaving a little vapor in the atomizer after I take a hit and then put the cap back on. Recently though, I have been trying to not leave any vapor in it, and it still seems to be doing the same thing. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

I'm using the ego c bat with 1000mAh, my atty is
Resistance Rated 1.8 Ohms at the coils. I hope this is what you are asking for, otherwise, I haven't a clue! I think I have found the problem! I believe that when I vape, I sometimes don't clear all of the vapor from the atty, and I get a collection of ejuice that forms from the vapor in the cap. I thought that I was clearing the all of the vapor, but it seems that it was happening mostly at night when I would wake up and take a hit. Does anyone know of any kind of cap for the round tips on the clearomizers? Not the clear silicone caps either, something more substantial!

Try a drip tip.

Now....you need to understand that that DC clearo, being rated at 1.8 ohms, is really two 3.6 ohm coils in one clearo. (because 1.8 is 1/2 of 3.6)

So...if you use a vaping chart, an ohm's law calculator, or you use SQRT( 7 watts * 3.6 ohms) = 5 volts to get 7 watts of heat. However, that also requires 2.8 amps (because there's two coils)....probably more than what the eGo C can provide.

So the bottom line is that you probably won't get a very warm vape. It is barely vaporizing the juice. You get "BIG" drops of juice..and a lot of liquid. You may even be getting a little liquid "sucking up" and not being vaporized.

If you use dual coil stuff you need to supply it with a lot of amps. And voltage. The max voltage on that e-cig is..I think...4.8.

Bottom line: Ditch the 1.8 ohm DC. Or get a PV with at least a 3.0 amp limit. Higher amps if you can.

Of course, it could also be leaking when you lay it on it's side. Sometimes there's several things going on. That's what's so "picky" about e-cigs sometimes...fiddly. Could be leaking AND bad vaporization.

Some small amount of condensation is common in all tips/carts. But it shouldn't be bad. I'm betting on poor vaporization due to lack of power when using a DC.

Are you "stuck" on dual coils? Like you have a case of em and need to use them all? ;)

Basically, a DC is like having two atomizers/carto connectors and vaping "double barreled". If there's only one battery it can be...tricky.

I don't want to get into personal recommendations because it is so variable. And, frankly, there's no "go to place" that lists all PVs and their amp limits that I know of. Add to that cost and features and personal preference and it's a crap shoot.

If you stick with single coil stuff---that PV is fine. Dual coil....stresses the stock stuff pretty much. Maybe check reviews in the APV section.

By your description I would assume that you're using the Innokin i6 Dual Coil Clearomizer. (looks like the rebuildable CE4+) So first you should understand that the clearo was designed for the Innokin MVP which has a battery with a higher c rating than an ego. So you could have performance issues using the eGo battery.

However what you are describing is just a buildup of condensation, and putting a cap over the mouth piece (drip tip) like what you are describing would prevent air circulation, and actually make matters worse. they need to breath I think your solution (instead of throwing what you have away) would be to simply take the tip off, and blow it out before taking that first vape in the morning.
