I recently was dealing with a similar problem with my eGo battery charger for my 900ma battery. After exchanging it for a new one, and having the new one do the same thing, I finally figured out that if I plugged the charger into a different USB port, it solved the problem.

I guess some USB ports are able to output more energy than others? I don't know enough about how they work to say for sure, but I would recommend trying a different energy source.

I have had problems charging various battery types, but have found a simple solution.
As has been noted the wall plug-in around seem to be low power and charge slowly,
the USB is a better alternative, but all USB ports are not created equally. Depends on
your PC's powersupply and how much power it has to spare, as you may be using it
for actual computer work.

Easy solution is available in the form of a 4 port USB hub, that comes with it's own
plug in the wall power source (mine's 5v @ 2.1amp). You can pick one up at Target,
Radio Shack, Computer store.....etc, be sure it's rated with enough amperage.
I can plug in my pass-thru and charge two batteries at the same time with plenty
of power for vaping. ;-)
(so I'm a computer / electronics geek, but I like vaping, and needed my USB ports
for PC accessories)

I hope my tornado doesn't have any problems like this. One question I have.. more of an idea really.. Has anyone tried connecting the USB charger to a wall adapter? I don't know the actual name, but the you plug it into the wall, and then there's a USB plug to charge various electronics. Apple's iPhone comes with one, and I'm sure you can find them on amazon or wherever. Matter of fact, I've seen some e-cig kits that come with a setup like this.

Both of my batteries charge in under an hour for some reason. I never use USB.
Are you charging with the computer or the wall?

Actually this seems about right. I charge mine once a day and it usually takes about 55 mins to 65 mins. But, I am using 4 of them that I rotate through out the day. This is off the wall charger....the USB seems to take a lot longer.

GiMante, what are the specs on your charger? It should say on the wall adapter what mah output it is. Should be in the range of 420mah IIRC.

Edit: I just wanted to add that I have two chargers. When I charge up the batts, I do the two Rivas, then the two Egos. They are usually completed within a couple of minutes of each other. Very consistent. When one starts taking considerably longer than the other to recharge, I will know it is time to replace it.
