Hi guys, first off, thanks for reading. I'd appreciate any help I can get.

To start off, this is not the usual issue everyone keeps talking about! I've tried all the "usual" fixes like moving the charging posts up, etc. I've been reading online on this forum and many others on this issue for the past two weeks and have found no one to have the exact same issue.

What happens is when I plug my eGo T to charge, the light turns red on the charger, the blue light lights up on the eGo battery for about 1 second then blinks 3 or 4 times then shuts off. The red light remains on but doesn't seem to charge even when left alone for hours... I have tried 3 different chargers, no difference. When vaping, I hold down the button, same deal. Blue button lights up for 1 or 2 seconds, blinks a few times and turns off. I am nowhere near the 5 second limit. Very similar thing happens to my regular eGo. I press to vape, it turns blue for a second then blinks a few times and goes off. Weird thing is I can't even put either one on "safety mode" by clicking it 5x. It just doesn't work. The only difference between charging my regular eGo vs eGo-T is the regular one keeps the charger's green light on (doesn't go red, ever) but the blue light remains on while its plugged in... pretty much the opposite of the eGo-T. HELP! I am too cheap to buy another one and want to see if I can fix this! BTW, the eGo-T was 2 days old when it started acting up... somehow both were affected.

P.S. For the 1 second it works, it actually produces vapor (very little obviously due to the time it is actually working).

Thanks!

just go to your local vendor but from what i have read its a charger short would need to do some of my trouble shooting steps to verify but go find your closest kiosk or store they will tell you if its the battery or the charger that happening is iether the charger has shorted out during a charge and yet it may still function it may be broken and if its your battery then you will have to burry it and get a new one

Appreciate the replies guys. I don't think it is a short. I have opened it up and looked inside, cleaned it very thoroughly with IPA, made sure those thin little wires are soldered to the right locations and haven't been ripped off/shorted. I actually messed up the smaller one of the two in the past hour re-doing this haha...

Anyway, I have tried a bunch of different coils/heads (7 or 8). They were one of two styles and both produced the same results. I even tried a brand new one! Put a very tiny bit of juice in it let it sit for a while then tried it and still nothing. I think it's time I suck it up and buy another. I was just hoping to understand what's going on so I don't break another one lol

Edit: Oh and I've tried 3 different chargers/USB cords, computer charging etc and doesn't seem to be the issue, in case anyone was wondering.

Simple Battery test - Remove any top device.
Wait 5 minutes to be sure of cool control head.
Press button and count.
(Normal time is 10 seconds) NOT 5 seconds
If you are only getting 1-2 seconds, the light flashes and the battery shuts down -The battery is Damaged. YES you can have more than one damaged battery. Repeating the same mistake that kills one will kill another.
