I was screwing around with my KGO today and I may or may not have shorted it out by dry burning it and trying to adjust the coils of a CE style clearomizer with a straight pin.

Now it flashes the battery slow 5 or so times and then really fast 5 or so times whenever I screw an atomizer on it.
Other than that it will not fire or even light the button. It is only when I put an atomizer on it that it gives me this signal.
Otherwise it is dead as heck.

When I plug it in it goes green and says it's fully charged (not true). I have taken a KGO apart before, but I really don't know where to start with this problem. Any indication would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. KGOs are junky. This is the 2nd one I have broken in as many weeks.

That is the normal flashing response when you have blown the ckt board in a Kgo. You can throw it away now.

Don't blame the PV, that's how they prevent very low resistance or a direct short from causing a thermal runaway condition. Your more advanced PV's have amp limiters that do the same thing without destroying the PV.
