I ended up getting an automatic Mega in silver, and a manual in blue. As I told Jack, this is a "test kit" of sorts. Between me vaping all over town (especially in the bars) and my boyfriend working out on the rigs, we have at least 20 people that want me to bring in kits for them. Seems small town Alberta has never heard of the e-cig, nor do they have any idea how to use the Internet for research or purchasing.
So the bottom line is I wanted to see a couple different options and colours (personally, I always prefer stainless) and well, black is black. And pink probably wouldn't go over well with the rigpigs. Although in my evil moments.... heh.
Personally, I STILL love my M601s. I'm one of the few who wants my e-cig to still function as close to an analog as possible. I've never been interested in manual batteries or mods.
I started with the M401 over the 510, after copious research, because I wanted automatic batteries and the flavour was more important to me. Then I moved on to the JSB118, and finally the M601 - which I have used for over a year now.
In the past year I have gone through a whopping total of 4 601 batteries and attys. And only because my boyfriend LOST an e-cig the other day, or I wouldn't be in the predicament I'm in. I still have two working batteries.
So yeah, in the past year, I have had 3 atties die and one battery die. I'm impressed.
I chose to stick with the 650mAh because they will be starter kits. I decided to go with the eGo for everyone else because of the long battery life, primarily. But they're still going to want it to be as close to a cigarette as possible... which is why I'm leaning towards the auto batts and smaller size. And maybe the eGo-T.
