eGo DCT Cone - no more draw

I'm using a smok Tech U-DCT 3.5ml tank on my eGo-T battery with a cone to hide the gap from the ego threads. It used to work great, now for some reason I get no draw with the cone on. I take off the cone, and just have the tank in the 510 threads and it works fine. Everything use to work fine, but now with the cone on there is just no draw, like the air flow is being restricted. Not sure what changed in the last day - was using this set up for about a week, any advice?

My friend had the same problem with his. We did a few things but we weren't sure what exactly fixed the problem. Here's what we did, respectively:

1. Chipped away at the inner o-ring of the tank so it wasn't extremely tight.
2. Cleared the airway of the cartomizer - turned the tank upside down, with the tip facing down, and blew into it so any excess liquid came out from the threading part of the cartomizer.
3. Replaced the cartomizer with a new one.

We did these steps in order and it worked fine after that with the cone on, but I'm not sure exactly which stepped fixed the problem. Hope this helps!

I was able to fix it by using a knife and pulling out the contact for the battery ever so slightly. For some reason the cone just made the positive/negative ends on the battery and carto not be able to touch.
