This is peaking my interest http://www.vaporbeast.com/Ego_E_Power_18650_p/sk2.htm
Yay or nay?

I want a more powerful battery. I'm happy with the 3.7v that the eGo batteries put out but my smok Tech dual coil cartomizers are eating up my 650mah batteries in less than a day. I think I'm going to get a 900 or 1000mah eGo battery so I'll have all day power but I've also thought of getting something bigger. I like the idea of something like a Provari but I don't like the price tag. Something around 50-60 bucks or less is more appealing to me.

I have also been thinking about giving the Boge 2.0 cartomizers a shot but I'm quite happy with the smok Tech dual coil cartomizers and I'm not sure if the Boge will be any better.
I'm a fan of massive vapor. warm vs cool doesn't really matter to me and I don't think variable voltage will really matter either since I'm happy at 3.7v.

So I'm getting a bigger eGo battery and I would like a little input before getting some sort of mod.

The e-power 18650 is a bit bigger in diameter than the ego but they also make the e-power in 14650 that is about the same size as an ego 1000 mAh. Both of the e-powers will put out a true 3.7 volts until the battery drop below and then you run at battery voltage. The ego is regulated at 3.3 or 3.4 volts until it shut off and you recharge. I have both sizes of e-power but prefer the 14650 when out and about. I use a 2.0 DC carto on them and very happy with both.

Good to know. I've wondered why people go 14650 instead of 18650 and now I know.
I was just on Joyetechs website and found out that they changed their batteries again. I also found out that it's 3.3v output and not 3.7 like I thought.

This is their upgrade battery Joyetech eGo-C Upgrade Battery It can be changed from 3.3v constant to variable voltage that puts out whatever the battery is producing. It's interesting to say the least.

I got the E-power today. It came with 2800mah batteries instead of 2200mah like the listing says. The batteries are made by Smoktech so hopefully they'll be ok (meaning not failing), I've heard AW brand or none a few times on here.

Ryan at Vapor Beast threw in an extra mega cartomizer with the order so I was happy to see that because those things are awesome. It's a tough choice between the tank and the cartomizer when I pick it up because they both put out a lot of vapor and take forever to get through the 4-5ml of juice that fits in them.

This thing is great. It feels heavier than the Lavatube even though it's smaller and uses the same battery, hmm... It's about the same weight as my Surefire LX2 Lumamax flashlight that takes 2 CR123A batteries and it's about an inch longer with a tank or mega cartomizer connected to it.

It took a couple hours for the first battery to charge completely. While it was on the charger I checked the other with a multimeter and it read 4.1v. I guess they charged the batteries before they shipped. That or they were charged at the factory. Either way, I'm going to run this one until it dies since it read that it was putting out 4.1v.

I carry my 14's around during the day with 2.0 DC's but have an atty on the 18 for around the house for dripping. I use the TF Flames in my 18 and they seem to work just fine, in the 14's i'm using the smoketech's and they are also working just fine. I'm certainly not a battery guru but I don't think you will gain much if anything by using the AW high drain. These e-powers are regulated/capped at 3.7 so you would never see the full potential of a using a high drain. IMO using a protected battery along with the protection in the unit gives me a comfortable level of security.

What is a TF flame?
I wasn't thinking high drain when AW came to mind, I was thinking about reliability. I just want the safest battery I can get.

My batteries say "SMOK 18650 2800mah" on them. They have the flat top with four vents around that flat top and they have a blue wrapper. I think the manufacturer is actually Tenergy but I'm not sure.

Is it just my charger (3.7v/300mA) or do these batteries take foreeevvveeerrr to charge? I'm talking like 7 hours. I'm thinking about getting a charger that charges at 500mA or 600mA but I need to see if that will be ok with my battery.

My charger for my 18650 and 14650 is rated at 4.2v 1000 mah and it charges them very quick. It is what came with my LT Kit.

This looks very similar to my Ego type 18650 Mod tube that I picked up from Health Cabin. They do not include a battery but it fits easily my XTAR (Made in same factory as AW) 18700 Protected battery which really pack a nice punch. Has worked well except that the control head has failed twice but Health Cabin has been great and sent out a replacement very quickly each time before receiving the dead units back. Kudos to them. It is a nice setup and supplies plenty of power for a nice long vape.

That looks identical to mine. I had mine in my hand when I read that post. I've had my button stick a couple times when I hit it more toward the bottom of the button but all it takes to remedy the situation is to push it again. What's up with your tank, it looks like its melted or something.

AzPlumber, That's good to know about the charger. I'm thinking a 4.2v/1000mA charger should be good for charging both batteries while I use the eGo battery or for a faster charge by doing one at a time.

That is soooooo pretty! Where does one find these pretty things? I look and look - but obviously, I am not looking in the right places. I really would like to know, pretty please, where does one go shopping for things like the above?

TIA!

It's a textured tank so without a closeup photo it looks melted. Well actually it is to make reference design. It's a Phiniac tank. I also have an Ego mod tube and do have the same button issue.
