EGo fast charger question

Has anybody pluged the USB charger into an iPhone USB plug charger adapter? Seems like it would work and would charge my ego quickly as well. It's been taking around 4hrs to charge on the wall charger. Is that normal?

Apple's charger is rated at 5 volts - 1A. But why risk it? You can grab a fast USB charger for the eGo for 6 or 7 bucks from quite a few online dealers and charge your battery in less than 2 hours.
