eGo for on the go, but what about @ home?

Love my eGo at all times during the day. Great for when on the go or at work. But would like something new at home. Been running the eGo on a LR atty for a while now, and thinking about a 5v device. Seen the GLV-2, which looks good, and has good reviews, but wondering what other 5v devices are out there.

What is everyone else running for 5v?

My choice is the eGo Mega atty w/ Mega Carts (Cylinder type, not cone). Standard battery will last longer. Mucho vapor and holds a lot of juice.

You could consider the Buzz from NotCigs. I got one a week ago and I'm enjoying its versatility - it is a variable volt mod.

I think someone said that ego has a passthrough that is also a battery? The USB just plugs in and can be removed along with the top cap, and there is the battery part??

If you want to try 5v on the cheap look at the 510hv usb passthru. For $15 you can give it a shot, plus it'll save your batteries for when you're going mobile.

Yes, the eGo passthrough is just a 650mAh battery with a mini USB connector on the end. It lets you vape and charge at the same time. Just disconnect it and you have a regular 650mAh eGO, albeit the size of a 900mAh.

I agree that this is a great cheap way to try 5v. Just make sure you have a plug-in USB adapter that puts out 5V and at least 1000mA.

I also love the Buzz...We own three in our house. Not only is the PV the best that I personally have used(ego,wetbox,little sister, aloha mod) the customer service at notcigs is excellent! I would recommend both the PV and company to anyone wanting to step it up a notch!

I also just upgraded to a Buzz from an eGo. I've had my Buzz for a couple days now and haven't touched my eGo since it arrived!

I've got two eGo kits... my first one is all beat up and stays home, my new one looks nice and goes out with me.

Cartridges at home, cartos on the road.

Although, I'm tempted to go buy a GG with AVS. But the AVS is out of stock. That would be the ultimate home-vape.
