Ms. Funtobefemale there are 3 codes in effect until 10/12 at 11:59am:

COLUMBUS20- 20% off for orders up to $50
COLUMBUS23- 23% off for orders $51-100
COLUMBUS26- 26% off for orders over $100

There is higher vapor production and th potential using a kr808 batt in comparison to an ego due to the extra voltage of the kr808. V4L makes some of the best batts on the market, especially the titan series.

wow. well, how come I can't see battery specs on the site? i'm confused. i've been spoiled by the relative ease of the ego understanding. 808s seem to also be very popular tho

If you're going for the manual versions, as of right now there isn't one on the titan series Ms. Funtobefemale (those are the king diamond and stealth series batts). The vapor king batts are still quite excellent as well though, if batt life is the most important part to you, would suggest the xl. It comes in at 380mah.

Gen 1 Kr808's (which are all V4L sells currently) are unregulated. They start at 4.2v, and work their way down as you vape. Ego's run at 3.2-3.4v depending on the manufacturer without any mod. Hope this helps.

This is extremely helpful thank you. I think I really do want one I just haven't justified the $70 yet (plus the extra batteries I know I'll need :D). the passthru that comes with the ultimate kit.. is that battery removable to be used as a regular battery also?

I received my eGo kit at the same time as my V4L kit....and I use my V4L batts on a regular basis....the eGo kit....well, it's been boxed for some time now. The simplicity and outstanding performance of the 808's ...... well, it doesn't get much better.

yep...they got some use, but they just didn't quite cut it....they were too much like my first kit (only longer batt life). It wasn't till I got the V4L kit that I quit smoking....and that was day one. I do still use one....an eGo pt for testing flavors via dripping.

Egos just dont have enough kick for me.

That's it exactly Keyzy :thumb: Even with cartos, they just don't compare imo.

FTBF, V4L runs good sales every week (sometimes multiple times a week!). Go to their website (v4l.com) and sign up for their newsletter; I think this will get you on the V4L Sale e-mail list (if I have that wrong, someone PLEASE jump in and steer her to the right place to sign up!)

I love V4L 808s; I especially love the higher voltage (juice generally tastes better, TH is better, vapor is warmer). Since I am a vaping hog (who also tends to overfill), I stick with the XL Manuals. They're GREAT!! :)

Ms. Funtobefemale I've tried every non-mod batt type known from a number of different vendors. For me, nothing matches a an unregulated kr808 batt from V4L. While they may not last as long, the voltage output can't be beat by any other non-mod batt on the market. How many mah and what ohm atty/carto do you use on your ego? If it's a 650mah one, and you use a 1.7ohm carto or atty, then you'll get around half that life span using a 380mah xl with a 2.3ohm or so wow carto. So in other words, if you go through one charge a day, get 2. If you go through 2, get 4. V4L has plenty of sales, and their customer service is excellent to say the least. They go far above and beyond the call of duty to make people happy.
