Hello. I am wanting to buy a joyetech mod with the 18650 battery. I have been using the twists but would like better power and better hits between battery charges. My question is- what type of carto or clearomizer is the best without geting dry hits and what strenght do i order- low or standard resistance.

Unless Joye has released a new one I am not aware of...... my understanding ... the joye 18650 mod will not generally give more power or better hits vs. the vv twist but will just last longer as its a bigger (more mAh , longer lasting) battery... With the version 2 switch it will give unregulated output , ~3.7v with liion chemistry 18650 cell through most of the discharge cycle... 4.2 down to ~3.2 as the cell drains... with the v1 it will be 3.2 for as long as the cell lasts from beginning to end... may have misunderstood what you meant though?
I've been wishing for awhile they'd come out with an 18650 tube with the twist circuitry and a (larger) twist knob (hopefully with better marking..hah) .. I'd buy 2 immediately to add to the collection..in fact intended to post something about that then saw your thread.
