I have an EGo. While I am loving the battery power compared to the skinney traditional looking e-cig I am not getting as much flavor as I did with my 808 model. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or not. Carts aren't holding near the amount of fluid either.

I am not sure what kind of an EGo it is I think it came from e-vape-kits originally. I am sure it has to do with the carts. The ones that came with it were all burnt from get go =o( and the ones I bought to me do not work as well as the carts I was using with other unit.

Not sure what to do or what to buy that I can afford. A bit frustrated as I was soooo excited to get both a longer lasting battery and more flavor...I wish I could combine the two units ROFLMBO! Then I would be set!

Please help!

I have a lot of different cartos from dual coils to mega dual coils to single coil low resistance to single coil standard resistance . I have type A tanks type B tanks 510 tanks and boge leo tanks . I also have an assortment of atomizers and cartridges from LR to HR and SR as well as mega type B atomizers and cartridges . You know the one thing I have leaned is they are all different in their own ways . I some times sit using two or three ecigs in front of me . Why because they are so different from the flavour to the amount of vaper the put out . So it is hard to tell anyone to use this or that because there are so many variations . Add on top of that variable voltage and your in a new ball park all over again . Only time will tell where you end up and with what .

Like most I have tried both and for me the 510 wheather it be sc or dc are just better to me than 808's and I have a ego and have no problem, you are probably having carto issues so like some have said try some better cartos and try some dual coil cartos and I think you will find you get much better flavor and vapor from your 510.

I think it'll take contant tinkering on your part to find that pefect match. I started with the base eGo, loved the battery but was looking for more TH and flavor. I then moved on to the boge LR cartos and drip tip... more TH and flavor. I've also ordered a EMDCC that should be here today. If they are as advertised, it may be where my eGo rests for a while. I've been vaping for 3 weeks now and this is where my evolvment has taken me to.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Sorry for not responding I am having a hard time navigating this huge site! I wasn't trying to be vauge. I won the EGo so I really have no idea what kind of EGo it is. It is black and has a winged badge looking thing at the bottom that has LF inside it.

The carts say C.C.V. BOGE 3.0

I get a bit lost shopping for carts cause I really don't know what the differences are but I will probably try some different carts. I recently got a tank for it and that is helping.

Try some Boge low resistance cartos. They are 1.8 ohm or 2.0 ohm depending on who's selling them. My 1.8 ohm Boges read 2.0 ohms on my meter.

Great taste from just about any juice. At the eGo's 3.4v regulation you need LR for flavor. On a Riva (3.7v), your 3.0 cartos might be better. Depending on the juice, I like the Riva batt or the eGo batt.

I would have to say your carto's are the culprit. I've yet to find a cartomizer that can hold a candle to a good LR atomizer. Dripping has spoiled me, I guess. My current primary configuration is an HH .357 atty on an eGo 1000mah batt. I am well aware that using this 1.5 ohm atty will shorten the life of my batteries, but to me, the added performance and flavor is SO worth the sacrifice. LR 306's are an excellent choice as well. A cheaper alternative to buying and trying everything would be to get yourself an adapter for the 808's you already know and love.

Assuming you used cart and atty with your 808, you're comparing apples and oranges. Carts and attys do (for the most part) provide a different flavor than cartos...especially Boge cartos. I always found the Boges to give a rubbery or plastic type taste to everything, and they're just wimpy IMHO.

I'll avoid jumping onto the "try this or that" bandwagon, and ask you about your juice. What PG/VG combination are you using? If the juice is too high in VG, it really won't wick properly in a carto unless you thin it with water or PGA.
