Ive never done a review before, but then again Ive never had an e-cig like the eGo! So here it goes.

First off, Janty is VERY efficient. Ordered tuesday night, shipped wednesday morning, and arrived thursday afternoon. It doesnt get better than that with standard shipping! I caught the mailman just as I was leaving for work so I had to do a rather hairy unboxing while driving down the road, but I couldnt wait. At the first light a blew out the primer, dripped a few drops, slapped on a cart and fell in love.

Right out of the box it was the best vape I have ever had. Ive never gotten flavor like this out of my 901, 801 or regular 510. I found a whole new side of RY4. And now that Ive gotten the atty broken in its even better. The throat hit is unlike any other cig as well... Its not necessarily harsh but more of a warm, dense feel. And of course, loads and loads of vapor. My first hit blocked my view of the road for a second so I had to open the window, something I havent done since analogs!

The looks can be described in one word: Sleek. I got mine in white and its very elegant. Its a little bigger than I expected, even though its not big at all. I watched videos and got a good idea of the size, but you cant really tell until you hold it. The weight is very nice too... heavier than any other cig Ive had, yet its still pretty light.

Ive heard alot of people griping about the button and yes, it is 'wobbly' but I dont feel like Im going to break it or its going to fall off. The indent in the button feels really good and grips my finger really well. Plus the fact that the LED is in the button makes for easy stealth vaping in movie theaters.

My first battery lasted me over 6 hours of non-stop vaping. And I mean non-stop, sitting outside getting drunk and slow cooking brisket 6 hours while taking 2-4 puffs a minute... and thats right out of the box with no preliminary charge! On a full charge the battery lasted for about 10 1/2 hours of moderate but still pretty heavy vaping.

I think Ive covered all the basic bases so in closing, if you dont have an eGo.... well it sucks for you. Happy Vaping!

Oh man, I know just what you mean. I've had my Janty eGo for a week and haven't been happier with any PV. My first order messed up and I received auto batteries and I wasn't sure the eGo was going to be it. But when I received my manual batts and started up again...it was perfection IMO.
I vape heavily and get no less than 8 hours on every one of my four batteries.
Hey Louis, where do you recommend we get our low resistance atty?

As I've said in every thread about this..I COULD NOT AGREE MORE!! The eGo is literally responsible for my quitting nasty cigarettes. For me personally, Cignot has the best deal, not only in price, but in Customer Service.

I don't understand what the difference would be with a low resistance atty though so I guess I need to look into that as so many say its great, I just don't know what it does. I also don't understand the wide band atty's or the cartomizers so I've got a lot of research ahead of me. I'm lucky that at least, I have the eGo and need nothing else. The rest is just to help make it even better than it already is if that's possible :).

I even started playing with making the tea bag insert thingies and while I think I've had some success..I'm also having lots of problems with it so I don't know if I've done it right, wrong or what, but its sure fun trying to figure it out.

This forum, Cignot, Tasty Vapor, and I'm sure all the other ECF suppliers just ROCK!!!

I use an eGo battery with the rest of my 510 gear. For 30 bucks, this battery has been the best investment so far in my enjoyment of my e-cig. I find the BEST combination is my eGo battery with a 306 atomizer. The 306 atty seems to have a much lower resistance then my 510 atties. Also, since I drip, I notice that the 306 atty is much more efficient with the juice. I can get the same number of hits off a 306 atty with about 2/3 the juice compared to a 510 atty. The other benefit of the 306 is that flavors don't stick to it like the 510. If I vape menthol, then go to red bull, I don't get a minty red bull flavor. The last benefit of a 306 atty to me is that the draw is easier then a 510 atty.

I got my eGo on May 4 when I got home from a grueling day at work. Tore thru that box like nobody's business, slapped my already broken in 510 atty and went to town. Chain-vaped that sombeyotch til I was dizzy, then vaped more alot more couldn't even kill the battery out of the box! The 510 petered out in like 15 mins of heavy vaping, not my eGo! Took it to work on the 5th of May, made it thru an entire 8 hour shift w/o recharging once! Walking to the subway was another story (spare in my pocket so no probs) just a quick changeroo and presto! more chain-vaping.

As for my review:

Battery life: 10
Flavor: 10
Throat-Hit: Depends on juice
Vapor: 10
Style: 15 out of 10  It's pretty to look at

ps. the Red Bull flavor tastes just like it should without the medicinal aftertaste

pps. The mega atty looks doofy with the eGo (mebbe I should try another color other than white)

I can't say enough good things about my e-Go. I got it last night and immediately installed a low-resistance atomizer. Amazing throat hit and the flavour totally blows my standard 510 out of the water.

I chain-vaped today and am thoroughly impressed with the e-Go's battery life too. For me it lasted close to 5 hours as opposed to the usual 30-45 minutes with a standard 510 battery. Vaping at a normal pace I could see 1 eGo battery lasting me all day.

Glad to hear everyone is enjoying their new Egos! They are, IMHO, one of the best ecigs available!!!

Just to clear the air here a bit for you strkaholic, the 'wide band' atties are nothing 'technical', it's a strictly cosmetic reference. The band they're referring to is the one around the bottom, (threaded end), of the atty. The wider band is just one with more 'gold' look to it.

A carto is an atty and cart all in one piece. While they have their ADvantages, like ease of use, etc., they're not MY favorite because, A) I like to see what I'm doing when I'm refilling B) the idea of burning filling isn't my idea of a good time.

The LR atty looks exactly like the regular ones, but they simulate the HV (or, high voltage) vaping many of the bigger mods offer. But, they're more expensive than regular attys and don't last as long. Everything has it's 'give and take'. And, I wouldn't recommend investing a LOT into LR atties for people just beginning to vape, they MUST be kept wet and cool enough at all times and it's hard to determine the subtle changes in tastes etc. when you're first starting out.

Hope it helps!!! :)

I got my EGo on Friday and I'm in Love. While the 510's served their purpose in getting me started on vaping and helping me quit the analog habit, they do not compare with the EGo. I love everything about it...the vapor, the shape and feel of it in my hand...the little button that lights up when pushed...it is an almost sensual pleasure.
