I purchased the eGo from Janty when it first came out. Despite the new hardware, I didn't think it was a huge leap from the 510 other than the battery life. In my experience, the eGo's battery life is about 2x longer than a 510 mega battery.

I purchased a 510 low resistance atomizer to go with my eGo, and WOW, the difference in phenomenal. I get tons of more vapor, flavor, and just better everything! The fruit flavors especially became much more alive.

If you are an owner of the eGo and have not tried a 510 low res atty, please do yourself a favor and get it. It transforms the eGo into a perfect e-cig!

I switch back and forth between my LR and my regular atty's with my eGo. You're right it is amazing. Sometimes and with some juices it is actually too much for me, so I like having both around. I do have some mega cartos that have a higher resistance and they are horrible. No vapor, no taste and I turn blue from sucking on them.

With the LR and some juices, I only need a 2-3 second hit to get a great throat hit and huge vapor cloud.

Where are you getting yours from? Mine is still going strong at two weeks, but I have heard some people having issues with them not lasting long.

Received my Tornado yesterday. Wow, what a difference from standard 510 or with the Mega batt. I bought some LR atty's as well. I can see a big diff in vapor, flavor over the 510 with a standard atty, but add the LR and that brings the vape to a whole new level.
Just awesome. I'm trying all my tobacco flavors with the Tornado and some of them that I thought were tasteless, now have flavor. TW State Express taste like a grassy flavored TOBACCO. I can't say enough about it. Glad you guys like yours as well. I even like this better than my direct P/T.
Have a great holiday weekend,
Dave

I have tried the "bauway" LR atty's... i bought 1 for starters... used it just long enough to fall in love with it..then it died

Recently ive been using LR Atty's from Nhaler.com on my eGo from the same site... i bought 3 LR atty's.. one of them died within a couple hours of use... (ive emailed nhaler and i am mailing it back on monday...) the second one out of that order is going strong...

All in All... I love LR Atty's on 3.7v... but their life spans seem to short to be bothered with IMO.... at their costs anyway i should say.

Where in the USA can you get the LR atty and can they be used on the regular 510 AND the Ego? I have an Ego and the hubby still uses his 510.

Lot's of places have them. nhaler for one. I believe that any atty that works ona 510 will also work on the eGo. Mine from nhaler.com is going strong almost 3 weeks in, but as others have experienced, some seem to go bad quickly.

It gives amazing vapor and throat hit. It's almost too much with some of my juices. But on others that seem to have very little vapor on the regular atty, the LR will bring that juice to life. I'm going to get a few more and then alternate between the LR and the regulars based on which juice I'm using.

They say not to use an LR atty on anything less than a 450mAh battery, it just draws too much current.

So that would mean the 510 (180mah) and the 510 mega (350?mAh) would not be a good idea. They're too low in capacity, and an LR atty stresses the batts too much.

However, I have read about people that use regular 510 batteries with no apparent issues, so YMMV

I've been using the lr attys for a few days now and they're great. However, I seem to be getting electrical shocks from the tip of the ego after vaping on it for a few hours. It's happened on 2 different batteries that I had no prior problems with. The last one almost made me drop the damn thing. Any ideas as to whats going on?

I am conducting an experiment with the 510 LR atomizers using stock batteries.

Ever since I got my Chucks, the power of the big batteries (18650s) has increased my vaping experience to the point that it made me sad anytime I had to use the stock 510 batteries. But dragging the Chuck around for a night out, or any other big battery mod for that matter, can become a pain in the rear sometimes.

Well, anyway, I wanted to try some LR atomizers so I got one and stuck it on my Chuck and didn't like it. Too much really, that's what I thought. Then I decided to throw it on my 510 stock batteries.

Yes, I had read the warnings about 450mah minimum, but you have to understand that I have around 30 stock 510 batteries in the freezer that I don't hardly use at all anymore. So I figure, let's just see what happens here.

Well, DAMN, my stock 510 batteries act like my freaking Chuck now!!

So I am experimenting, and will give some feedback when I have solid information to provide. But so far my 510 batteries are lasting a decent amount of time and nothing seems to be going wrong with them yet. And I'm no longer sad when I have to leave the house without my Chuck.

I'll keep you all posted.
:)
