eGo + LR 306 doesn't work. Incompatible?

I just received the following two items from vaporflow:

Low Resistance 306 Atomizer - VaporFlow, Inc.
eGo 750mAh USB Passthrough Battery w/ Cone - VaporFlow, Inc.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get them to work together. When I try to inhale, I end up just creating a vacuum (much like what happens when you suck on a straw while plugging the other end). When not screwed into the eGo, the atty has good airflow (I can blow through it just fine). Also, the eGo works fine with a standard 510 atty I have. So, what's the deal? Did I just buy incompatible products here?

They are compatible.

Can you do some dry burns? Do you see it heating up?

Yes, if I activate the ego without a cartridge/tip on it, the atty fires and vaporizes the liquid I have in it. I just can't get airflow with either a drip tip, or the more traditional looking cartridge top that the atty shipped with. If I blow or suck directly on the atty when it's screwed into the ego, I get zero airflow, so the tip isn't the problem.

I do now own an Ego so I don't know for sure, but you might want to try unscrewing the atomizer just slightly from the ego so you can get some air. You might just be screwing down the atomizer too tight.

Nope, that doesn't work either. As soon as I screw it in even the slightest bit, no airflow. Taking a closer look, I see that the atty doesn't have the two airholes above the threads found on my standard 510 attys. I now suspect this is an oversight/manufacturing defect. What do you think?

NOOOO!!!! It will invalidate the warranty! Contact the vendor and describe the situation. You should get a repalcement for your DOA atty.

No air holes means a faulty atty. Send it back and get a new atty.
