Ego Mega Cartomizers

OK, the videos and ads all say they are 2.5 ml, and that realistic fill is 1.8ml. So, why does it overflow and leak out the bottom when I get to 1ml? I pull the outer and inner caps, pierce the membrane, and slowly fill, doing right, left and center, and at right around 1ml, it begins to drip out the atty and make a mess.

So, am I making some sort of noob mistake, or is this just what they do?

LOVE my Ego, and with the converters I got for my e9 and Kr8 cartos, I have a complete vaping system!! And with my VelvetVapors juices, I am *so* thrilled!! I just spent most of a day vaping on a single battery, and *that* is *so* fantastic.

I gave up on the ego mega carto's between the leaks and taste going south around the 2nd refill, best method for filling though is to fill them ontop of your juice bottle so it just leaks back in, I'd fill the syringe to about 2.0 and probably have about .2 leak back out. I think the XL/Mega 510 carto's are the better way to go personally.

I'll check 'em out!

Update on filling the cartos....I found that:
a) leave the .... plug on works better, LOL
b) draw up about 1.5-1.8ml juice
c) push the syringe in all the way, then *slowly* (really really slowly) fill while pulling out the syringe a bit at a time, til I finish the last bit just at the top

Spent an hour reading the whole section, and found some stuff I'd missed the first time round. The search engine didn't pick them up.

This worked great. No drippage, and I've gotten up to 1.8ml in these 2.0 cartomizers. Nice. I'm going to get some of the 2.5 ones too, I think. I like doing attys and cartridges, they let you change around more, but the cartos are great for long drives and shifts at work when I can't play with my gear.
