i have been vaping for 19 months and i learned that i have a problem with cartomizers that have polyfil, they give me a sore throat. i can use the same juice in an atty or in my CE2s with not problems. this is what made me make this mod. I decided to try these ego DCCs due to all the good reviews i heard about them. so i ordered a few of them, fill them up, fire them up and the next morning wake up with a very sore throat. so using these things were a no go for me. but i really liked how sleek they made my ego look. then i got the idea to just turn it into a giant clearomizer. the whole process was very easy (only had to reattach two wires) and took maybe 20 min,if that, and no leaks as of yet. the pictures speak for themselves. and this is putting out more vapor then i ever got from the DCCs

No, it was a ego mega dual coil carto. I turned it into a normal ce2, just with a very large tank that looks very nice on the ego. Sorry for the confusion, but it only has one coil. Was just stating that I used the connection, tube, and mouthpiece from the ego mega DCCs.
I hear you. I already tested the first version did not wick well enough. It has been modified and new ones in the mail. The improvements are just getting better and better. The junk I used just a year ago. Cant even think about we are vaping a year from now.

Oh i know. There have been major advances in vaping. A year from now? Just imagine 5 or 10 years from now. I'm thinking light sabers, lol

Yeah it is a perfect fit. Try pushing it down all the way. It will cover the cup. I was a fraud to to this a first cause I thought it might melt the rubber. Been using it like that for 4 days with no problems. The first day I pulled the tip out to inspect it after every vape session. I guess it is far enough from the cup to prevent melting cause the thing was barely warm. To test fir leaks I filled it up and stored it upside down on a paper towel overnight. the coil was a bit flooded, but no real leaks. This mas my test one so I used a ce2 that has had a bad taste from the start, so I might be swapping that coil. Easy enough though, just solder two wires. My next revision will be set up with a repairable coil.
These are great, they hold about 3 ml and that gets me through two days. No more messing with syringes every night just to be ready to vape the next day. Just fill this and I am good far 2 days. If I happen vape more then usual, They are easy to fill, just pop the top and there is plenty of room to drip.
Real close...Just got an email from a china factory. They are sending me samples to test the new twin coil ce's. The prototype worked well but then they made a couple of changes that made them worse. Now they feel they have them right
