Hi all!

I'm 28 and will be giving up smoking as soon as I make my first ecig purchase! I am looking at a kit from GotVapes and wonder if I buy a few "eGo Mini" batteries for use at work, if they will mount to this and be flush looking also.

GotVapes StartMeUp! New Vaper COMPLETE Kit - Everything Included [gc-NEWVAPERego-starterkit] - $79.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

He mentions it being a special thread and so forth. Wondering if anyone has used the Stardust and how they compare to the Vision CE4+ V2 clearomizers. The Stardust supposedly don't leak anymore. All I need is the clearomizer, mouthpiece, and battery to start vaping, right?

Love this forum.

Chris

Yes, anything that fits an ego will fit an ego

The link is 2 Ego T 1000mah

ego mini is between 350-400mah (so less then half the battery of the one in the link)

Both are eGo batteries, so everything that fits one will fit the other without an issue

I like stardusts clearomizers, i also am now in love with the new Phoenix ReBorn that GotVapes sells (also fits all egos) they do take more work to fill, but something about them, i just like.

Dont forget eLiquid!

Clearomizers come with a mouth piece (you can buy extras, or buy a drip tip adaptor and then use drip tips)

So, Yes all you need is: Clearomizer, Battery, Charger, Juice
You will want more then one clearo, and 2 batteries, The key is in case something goes wrong, you always have backups.

Hi Chris! Ummm...you're going to get tons of suggestions of what to get for a first kit, but 2 very important things are to get 2 batteries and, of course, a charger. I use Stardusts (and other clearo clones), but they all have a tendency to leak. For me, that's not a big issue, since I've figured out how to make them not leak. I know you will get many recommendations for vivi novas, but I'm not a big fan; that's just me though. I like the clearos because they're basically disposable. As alternatives kits, you might want to look at these:

eGo Twist 650 Starter Kit - Black

ViVi Twist Starter Kit | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

Thanks for the help! I like the wide filling mouth of the Stardust per the video they posted. In the kit I linked, it comes with a case, some liquid and stuff. Looks like a well thought out kit.

The charger is rated as 500mwh, so wondering if its too much for the Mini batterys due to their requirement. I guess I should have clarified in my original post.

The kit you linked to isn't "The Hot New Toy," but it's as good as the one that got me off of tobacco. It all comes down to what will work for you, although that kit is a little pricey for what's included.

Wait, crap. I was wanting to use the clearomizers (stardust). This kit is for cartos...

???? A carto, clearo, whatever you want will fit on an eGo.

ETA: Sorry. Doink. I'm confused by the OP. Are you looking to get the kit you linked to and want to know if a mini can be added to it?

The kit comes with clearomizers, Its listed as stardust cartomizer, its a clearomizer... You can see it in the picture.

That kit has EVERYTHING you will need and lots more. and you can always pick up as many extra clearos as you want

Well, I think i'd like a leak free 1.5mil(ish) clearo with a few eGo batteries. In terms of usage, I'm really only looking for nicotine delivery at this point. The eGo and stardust combo seems to be pretty popular and with a few mini batteries for stealth use, I don't think I can go wrong with that. If you have a better option, PLEASE fill me in!

The kit comes with the case and stuff which is nice. Just wondering about the 500mwh charger working with the lower rated mini batteries. I think they said 420mwh tops rated charger compatable?

I am chain smoking looking at all this nicotine stuff...

I have found that if you only fill the clearo/Stardust/clones up 2/3 of the way and then roll a small piece of paper towel and slid it up the bottom hole to blot excess juice, there isn't a leaking problem. eGo batteries, no matter the mAh, can be charged on an eGo charger - the 510 stick batteries cannot.

it will all work fine together.

Im still new to this, but a very fast learner.

The eGo and clearomizer is the best way to get into vaping. clearos are so easy and the eLiquid taste great in them.
I dont understand why people recommend cartomizers, they are so easy to burn out, or be left out with an empty one earlier then expected, since you cant see how much juice you have.

Go with the kit you listed, that and a mini (or two) and you cant go wrong!
(Just might want to add extra clearos and samples of eLiquid: Dont just go with ones that taste like cigs, you will move past those flavors quick and want something that does taste good)

Im vaping FLüX™ Nectar - Urban Tropics e-Juice From a SLB eGo-V True VV Pass Through eGo 3.0-6.0v LCD Screen - SILVER With a PHOENiX™ REBORN Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml Carto 2.4-2.6ohms With a 360° Adjustable KNUCKLEHEAD Drip Tip right now, as i type.

Is there a difference between the 510 (ego-T) batteries and the Ego-C batteries? Or am I wildly mistaken on everything?

The batteries are the same. The "T" and "C" refer to the delivery systems that come with the kits. "510" is a thread size (although there is a 510 "Stick" battery called a 510 - je***s this is hard to explain...)

ETA: An eGo actually has 2 threads. The interior threading is 510 and will fit any other 510 (like novas, tanks, etc.) and an external thread that clearos fit on.
