Ego not cutting it

I was having similar trouble with my eGo, and a few weeks ago got a great tip from someone here. I found that my atties kept getting clogged because:

1) I was leaving the eGo standing upright between vaping sessions
2) I was dripping before leaving the atty alone

Both of these factors were clogging up my atties like crazy. I found myself doing rinses and dry burns every few hours, and it was getting very frustrating. Now, I leave the eGo on its side, I only drip when I vape, and I vape all of what I drip. Now, my atties go weeks without any cleaning and work beautifully!

Thanks to this thread, I'm seeing the error in my ways. I've been frustrated to no end in my DIY flavored juice mixing and am starting to realize that the failure of my juices may not be attributed to the mixing/measuring at all. I've had alot of difeerent juices come out tasting EXACTLY the same!! Apparently the tank system is at fault. I'm a newbie. I was relying on "the next best thing" to give me somewhat worry-free assistance in my transition from analogs. The tank system has quite possibly stifled my joy in a healthier, cheaper way of living. Now, that I've shelled out a bunch of money on tank kits and extra atties, it will all be going to the classifieds when I build my magnum tank mod. Waiting on the postman to deliver cartos that will hopefully bring some flavors through with the eGo batteries from my tank kits.

Thanks J, Dougie, I honestly have a hate/love relationship with my ego Had trouble with it (flavor almost non-existant) etc and then this morning it works pretty good. But listen, that is just not going to work for me because I want a v/p that will work every time. You are in the same predicament I am in because I don't want to spend any more money! I have shelled out lots for juices and my ego kit/ tank atty and tanks, etc. I wanted to order the volcano tank system but then again what if lacks in the same way my ego tank does? Classifieds might be my ticket as well.

Stowntz has a very nice collection and someday I would like to have a mod as such but...
I can't see me going out of the house and about at work using 3 of the 4 in his picture.
I have both ego-T and GOGO and I don't see that there is anything wrong with having both.
He has all different kind of mods and they may all work together or not.
He has not stated that he used a GOGO so how can he say it's a scam?
Just because it is proprietary and can't be used with anything else so you have to buy from 1-2 venders doesn't make it a scam.
Besides someone will come out with an adapter like all the others ie:510 to 801-etc. It has already been stated it's in the works.
It may very well be a good business move......and if the product ends up working very well I'd go as far to say it would be a very good business move.The holly grail it's not.
A better choice over a eGo-T for new vapers.......I say yes due to ease of use and less learning curve
Like I said it doen't hurt to have both.....he has more than one mod right?

Any PV will work reliably, including the eGo, but you have to be willing to learn its quirks and how to maintain it! You can end up buying every PV on the market, and each one will have a different aspect of maintenance that you have to pay attention to. The tank systems are new, and even very experienced users are reporting issues with them. If you don't like dripping, you might do well with a bottom-feeder mod, such as a REO or ALi'i - it seems that there are few, if any reports about maintenance issues from users who have them, so maybe that's a good way to go....But, I would highly doubt that switching form one tank system to another will offer you any improvement...
