If you turn it on with 5 clicks, and then it just keeps flashing the light at you when you try to vape, that's an error code and something is broken, which you already knew. Right off the top of my head, I'd say either your charger is broken and the battery isn't actually charged, or the battery itself is south. In the latter case, it's almost certainly the battery-- they usually go out long hefore the electronics-- and can't be fixed. Do you, or your vape shop, have a screw in voltmeter for eGo batteries? It needs to be tested.

i dont have a multimeter but i tested it manually using a method usually a mech type of thing. like getting the battery poles right through and in between i attached or short circuted it and the battery sparks up so well... and charging mode of my ego still works fine though,,, huhuhu... possibly the error code your talking... ohh crap...

Dumb question; have u tried putting a dif 510 tank on it to verify its not a prob w/ the tank/ato/or connection?? Not sure would help but I always look for ruling out the simple things like that first.....
yes sir i borrowed a diff tank and still does the same flashing 5 times and not burning, i still got my 1 ohm coil head in my box tried it and still does the same as the others.. :'(

Maybe try pulling the little atty connector up just a very little bit? My friend would occasionally take his tank off and put a little of his shirt into the atty connector on the battery to clean it out, We work construction so things get dirty lol. When he went to put his tank back on it didn't make a solid connection so we would have to use a little precision flat head screwdriver to very slightly pull that atty connector up.

If this doesn't work then there is a good chance your battery chip is malfunctioning or possibly the tank your using on it is malfunctioning. Make sure your coil head is screwed into the tank all the way or at least far enough to make a connection.
