Oh good, so it's "normal" every other tank! I do vape really sweet stuff , but is so easy to just burn off the gunk and re wick

Define normal. :p

I vape very clean juices (low wattages) and my wicks stay pristine for a long time.

Well I vape butterscotch and cotton candy mostly lately. And I've found I need to re-wick every other tank or so.
I don't dare try to define normal![emoji38]

What kind of joose are you vaping?

The brownies... ;)

but, it's brownies :hubba:

I do HEARTLAND VAPES HY4 (RY4) semi sweet 80% VG dark gold

I use butterscotch and cotton candy as flavor adds to my HY4 and such... ;)
just got some coconut-hazelnut-French vanilla juice, wow it's good...

:D It's a good mod. Just too small for me. It's a hand feel thing with me.

Big difference between a 40 and 75. I never wanted a 40, but I like my 75. Much improved.

IPV D2 was (still is?) on my very short list when I was shopping for new mods last summer (FDA hysteria). Very nice looking mod! I decided to buy a Presa 75 and Vapor Flask Lite instead. They are all great mods. IMHO.

Do I need another mod?

Is the D3 substantially better than the 2? Or just moar power?

I was interested in the D2 when I first saw it but I read (here somewhere) that it doesn't have buck capability (step down voltage). My understanding is that the D3 does. I never bought one because they were selling in the $40-$50 range. It has a YiHi circuit board which are supposed to be on par with Evolv DNA.

How often do you guys find yourself re-wicking your CLR coils?
Lol! I don't think stayed with a single build long enuf that a wick actually needed changing.

Think I've finally settled in at 1.45 ohm KA1 and cotton tho.

Like I said, I promptly rebuilt my STM coil just for the fun of it! So I see where your coming from!

That all sounds good. Really good. My ADV is French Vanilla Creme. I usually have several flavors going, but that's always one of them.

I do my own RY4 Double (TFA). Usually about 5 percent. Recently added 1 percent raspberry in a batch. Actually pretty good, though I only vape it occasionally.

Well I liked the vape at .5 I liked it .7 I liked it at 1.25 but I didn't like the idea that I was leaving all my old gear behind so I decided to go back to 1.5 with big airflow.

Sooooo I've got all 4 egg rolls built the same. 2 riding Picos and 2 atop Smok SIDs. All at 13.5 watts. Jumpin back And forth between all 4 all day long. My vaping nirvana!

LOL You definitely got the bug now......someday if you manage to keep your wick for 2 or 3 tanks fills you will notice a marked increase in the flavor(for the better).

:)

Lately, with this incredible stable of tanks and coils, I notice I'm wicking about ...... welp, out of SEVERAL tanks, I've rewicked 7 times since the beginning of the year.

Am I the only person on the planet who doesn't like the Pico?

the Pico is a cool device - it's smaller than the 18650 battery (needs a cap)
it works great and has all the features...

but I don't like it, IT JUST DOESN'T fit my hand proper , my wife likes hers the best of all (when she had it) (enter the Smart Box)

so, Katya + motordude + puf (and counting) :D:D ooops

Katya, Puf and and Motordude. :)

Katya, Puf, Motordude, and KD.

But Betty likes it.

How often do you guys find yourself re-wicking your CLR coils?

Only when necessary. Are you on a schedule with yours?

super GREAT ! - glad to hear you got on track... :):)

yes I have played with the ECR/RBA heads and they are FABULOUS in my opinion
nice and big to work on and able to put big cotton/rayon inside

cotton is great but rayon is just better
rayon to me is tuff'r, wicks faster (more complete) leaves a better taste, and maybe (maybe) doesn't allow 'burnt' as easy :D

I love rayon, by KD.

It transports liquid, unlike cotton, which absorbs liquid. It stays cleaner for far longer. It can be vaped til the last teensy drops inside of it.

Plus it's fun to play with scissors.

Bingo! That's it! I knew there was a reason I didn't get that IPV D2, but, for the life of, I couldn't remember what it was. It didn't buck! And I'm a low wattage person.

My understanding is that the D3 does. I never bought one because they were selling in the $40-$50 range. It has a YiHi circuit board which are supposed to be on par with Evolv DNA.

Aha!

On par with Evolv? Just wait til Kat reads this...

Hey, @Katdarling , he says that YiHi is as good as Evolv board. ;)

:headbang:

Ouch...

Whoa! What's that????? :?:

not sure what possessed me to buy coconut/hazelnut/French vanilla
but it tastes like a tobacco w/coconut...
I have some 'almond joy' (chocolate-almond-coconut) and I liked the trace of coconut in it (who knew)

I have some cheesecake that reminds me of RY4 ?? if someone gave it to me I'd NEVER guess it be cheesecake

- - - -

yepper, what the heck is with the stupid 'round' fixture on that cord... ? (not this vapor'er)
