Truth be told, I tried a couple of TC coils I had sitting in various boxes, one Ni and one Ti, didn't make me happy at all. So I guess the answer is no.

I'm almost there. As soon as I'm done studying the composition of various ss alloys, I'll get me some wire.

BTW, nothing wrong with my Kanthal coils. Just sayin'....

I got two Presa 75w from TW
they both have firmware v3.00 which has TEMP SS mode

just clk fire-button 3 times to get the screen flashing / clk (+) button to choose SS

from -OFF- click fire button 21 times FAST ! to show version {3.0}

AHA!!!!!! V. 1.01 (first trimester, no doubt)

•it eliminates frying your wick
•it saves the life of your battery
•an idea of a TEMP range (accuracy)
•can give a 'assit' while dry-burning

think I am gonna invent a 521 Tab that has TEMP CONTROL

I just had very good luck with TC from the word 'GO'

just set everything up as per rules, and pushed the button (ezpz) grunt ! snort

no more burnt wicks, battery SEEMS to last longer

and it's a cool party trick to say - "hey, look at me" - "I'm doing it TEMP CONTROL style"
