LOL!

VG no good for me either. One of my earliest ventures was with that Johnson Creek juice line. Let's just say that it didn't turn out so well.

Not for me, and not for the bottles of that juice.

Some people really can't tolerate high VG. Like yours truly. No way, no how, no go.

yepper, I GET IT

'cause I AM THE "OTHER" WAY

I can not tolerate PG - to me it's like swallowing steel wool on a string, then pulling it back up :shock:
MAYBE 20% PG AT MOST

boy, do I remember those Johnson Creek days

ETA: 20-30% VG is all I can tolerate. Max. 40. Anything higher than that makes me sick.

I'm with the K-ya. High VG congests my lungs huge time. I've always been a flavor chaser and (as we know) PG carries the flava-flaves.

Sorry Puffster, but the high VG seems to correspond to clouding, which I do not do.

Moar for you, honey pie! :)

can't wait till ya get after that TC effect . . .
:smokie:

Moi? OK. Here goes.

I cleaned the wire. :)

I built my first ss316L coil and installed it in my Kanger ST mini rba: 3mm ID, 28AWG, 7 wraps (I think, because I always over wrap and then unwrap the ends), slightly spaced, 0.8Ω. Wicked with KGD and put it in on my Presa 75 in TC mode at 360F and 16W, 184 heat flux (very green and safe).

So far, nothing extraordinary is happening. Very similar to my usual Kanthal builds. I raised the ohms a bit to 18 and temp all the way to 400. I'll play with it some more, eventually. Too early to draw any conclusions, but I'm pretty sure that I'm in a safe zone with my non-TC builds.

TBC

 eta= I use the v1 bottoms with the v2 tops... getting kind of confusing now.

Thanks for the tips. I will place an order today for the Ego One Mega V2s and the CLR coils. I think I like the look of the V2s better than the V1's. Since the V1 and V2 tops and bottoms are interchangeable, I've got several spare tops to use in case the V2 glass breaks.

Vape Shop. They have the best prices on these I think. Before I found the ones at VapeShop.com, I was so excited to have found them for about $14 at Vaporleaf, but VapeShop is a much better deal.

cool; that's just how/what I like to build...

Katya , from MY experience, in order for the TEMP CONTROL to work (with Joye/Eleaf/Wismec chips) you need a minimum of 25w...
suggestion: up it to 25w / drop it to 240°, then climb the temp scale - YMMV

my thoughts are, that is the whole point, to replicate what you liked in Watts/Kanthal mode - but in TEMP CONTROL
now in TEMP CONTROL you can make it fully atomize but vary your vapor temp and the safety of NO burnt hit or wicking

there are some that believe you should set the TEMP CONTROL Watts to MAX and just allow the unit to control/throttle the TC PROTECTION (I don't like it that way)

so that is just how I like to use TC on my J.E.W. chips - basically setting TC Watts to 25w 'ramp up' & appx 300° (which on the INNOKIN TC chip, 25w/300° is the MINIMUM allowed setting)

Interesting. I went all the way up to 20 or 22 watts--it got better. I'm just experimenting at this point.

 Too funny. Minimum 25 watts? OK, I'll get there...

yepper, just be sure to reduce °F accordingly , then start the climb all over again... ;)

ya never know, YOUR sweet spot might be: 52W @ 260° jus sayin'
