Even if you don't rebuild - the clr are really good value. I've had 2 on the go for months and have only re-wicked them so far. I will rebuild eventually but they are cheap enough to just throw when the coils (eventually) give up.I've always find building hard work, I used the rba with my nebox & often got dry hits![]()

One more thing re: pico-s - make sure the top is screwed on the right way - with the completely smooth side upward. I put it on upside down once by mistake and it did leak then. My authentic has a patterned top which makes it obvious which is the right way but the standard top is plain & quite easy to put on upside down by mistake.
Does anyone know if the new Joyetech Ego One TFTA kit will take the CLR coils?
I have the authentic pico and clone pico-s and neither leak. The important things I think are the o-rings on the clr adapter top bit. The clone didn't have o-ring #1 when I got it so I added my own. It seals the clr coil (where the top bit has been removed). I also had to replace O-ring #2 as the one that came with the clone didn't stay in place. (The ones I used were 6mm inner diameter & 1.5mm thick - so 7.5 mm OD).

Thank you PufZ. Just what I needed!here ya go, about the best price I know of...
- Joyetech eGo ONE Mega V2 Tank
- Joyetech CLR Coils (5 pack)
I'm in the UK and got from eBayMay i ask where you purchased those o-rings and link if possible please.
Also tried this morning now at home again with pico-s but filled it and just left it sit without top cap nor the AFC ring on to see if it leaked so no top cap on and (no Afc ring on) and it does not leak.
Then put afc ring back on with airholes closed off , secured drip tip with its factory o-ring and then screwed top cap on still no leaks.
But when i turned afc ring to expose open airholes to vape that's when leakage occured.
I wiped it and put my hypo needle inside airhole and pulled hypo plunger to suck out any juice which did not amount to hardly any at all.
Now vaping it and it is a very nice vape easily comparable to my ego megav2.
Half tank vaped and no leaks but its tiresome to fill tank and have it leak on initial filling of tank.
So again if you can post where you obtained those o-rings i=as i would like to try them to see if those would
stop the leakage when tank top is secured after filling.
Without afc ring on just to see if any leakage at all no matter how small -picture below .

Did it work any better than the usual Cubis flooding and spitting routine?
I'm very tempted to check out this tank, it's dirt cheap an even the coils are cheaper than my Nautilus coils. It's just how they compare really?
I don't have a new eGo ONE TFTA but LOOKING the coils seem the same - then this article from a vendors page, the last line says they are compatible...

Metric Nitrile Rubber O Rings 1.5mm Cross Section 2mm-19mm ID - UK SUPPLIER | eBay
(hope link worked). The clear one that comes with the pico-s works fine inside the adapter it just isn'the quite big enough on mine (id) to stay put on the top of the adapter when assembling. I do use a drip tip which is narrow enough to allow me to remove top cap with it still in place - so once set up all I do is close airflow, remove top cap, fill, open airflow. The drip tip stays in place until time to rewick - no idea if this makes a difference? I also only screw the clr adapter far enough to 'feel' it''s touching the internal o-ring to make sure the top part of the adapter is firmly in the opening where the drip tip goes.
The spit-back and flooding are due to the "dripping ejuice on the coils to prime" instructions that come with them...
Spinfuel discovered a better way to prime the Cubis coils:
Although the Manual suggests dripping a few drop of e-liquid into the coil head, while avoiding the center hole in the coil head, we suggest NOT doing that. Just fill the tank, leave the coil head dry, and do the following:
- Take 3 or 4 strong pulls on the drip tip to bring ejuice into the coil head
- Blow through the drip tip 3 or 4 times to force out any excess ejuice.
- Let sit 10 minutes, minimum.
- Vape slowly, at less wattage, until you know if the coil head will begin to gurgle or spit.
- Once you’re confident, proceed to find your sweet spot in wattage or temperature, and vape normally.
All mine came with drip tip yes.Silly question: I'm organizing my tanks and putting some back in boxes but I can't remember if the v2 came with a drip tip?

All mine came with drip tip yes.
Our Siver v2s came with silver metal drip tips
Our Black v2s came with black plastic type drip tips.
Just ordered 7 more black ones from Litecig at 10.95 each with free shipping which is free on any order over 15.00. POP15 for 15% off worked on last order as well but not this order as it expired but wanted to get the tanks as they as not many vendors seem to carry them as they quickly move on to newer items..
